T. D. Jakes is another favorite spiritual leader that I enjoy reading. This book combines scriptures with explanations, questions to think about; all on the topic of “wisdom”. As the author writes, “just plain stuff that you need to be able to move forward toward your God given destiny.”

Great thematic compilation

Pastor Jakes deftly weaves a variety of Christian sources into a devotional that invites the reader to really meditate on and interact with the content so it can sink in and be more useful than words on a page. Would make great writing prompts for journaling.
