Rate this book
After a hit and run puts the man who is like a father to her in the ICU, Maggie finds herself returning to her old college stomping grounds to manage his restaurant. Happy to help in any way she can, Maggie takes the time to meet the newest member of the Blake family. After joking for years about settling down with a sweet, handsome cowboy in Carson, the joke seems to be on Maggie. Because this guy has tattoos instead of boots and he rides a motorcycle instead of a horse. Shane has a history that's come back to haunt him. Combined with her own insecurities, doubt fills Maggie's mind. Will their feelings for one another survive all life has to throw at them?

Taylor Belle is a stay-at-home mom who doesn’t ever stay at home. She is a substitute at her sons’ school, walks religiously to books on tape, plays Beat Saber, reads, and of course, writes books. She does fewer domestic tasks than any stay-at-home mom ever has before, and wonders how the laundry, cooking and cleaning ever gets done in her house. She’s certainly not the one who does it. While she’s on the go, she manages to fit chocolate into every meal, chocolate chip cookies being her favorite.

This is book 3 in the series and although it helps to read the other two book you dont have too. It starts with Shane being saved as a child with his baby sister Jessie . His sister and him go into foster care and he spend most of his young life working to get his sister the best life. He is running his owne auto shop. Mean while Maggie gets a call from mary they her husband Herb was hurt and they need help in there restaurant. She agrees because she loves the Mary &Herb and restaurant . It also helps that her sister is married to a local in the town. While there she meets Shane and there is an intant attraction and chemistry. There is a twist and Shanes past comes back. This is a clean romance and sweet. There is a lot of emotion and although there are some twist the drama is not to much. Its a great book.
