Sweet romance between Sara and Ryker. Sara recently lost her job and boyfriend and returned home to get her life back in order. Sara and Ryker were in love six years ago but she left town, just ran away with no goodbye. She met him her first day back and she felt the sparks at once. He did too. He now had a small son to protect and did not know how Sara would fit into their life. Ryker had lots of trouble with his son's mother. Stressful problems he had to deal with. Could Sara and Ryker rekindle their passion and become a family? Read Promise and find out. Highly recommend.

This is a fluffy little story about Sara and Ryker. She left him for some really dumb reason and now she returns to her hometown after her boyfriend dumps her and she loses her job. They pick up where they left off and it goes from there. Throw in his adorable little boy and you’ve been hooked. It’s a short little time waster for a rainy afternoon.

I really liked this book, I only wish it was longer! The caracters were easy to love and their second chance at love toghether was so sweet. The issues that had kept them apart were solved and although new challanges were presented they worked through it! I would have loved to spend more time with them, but seeing that it is not a long story, the moment we do share with them is well written and I didn't feel it was rushed or incomplete!
