Christmas Daddy

Holly has been living in the big city but not really making it. She has a miserable job with a jerk off a boss. He fired her for arriving late even thought here were horrible driving conditions because of a snow storm. Her severance pay gets stolen when she leaves her old job. That same day her landlord evicts her dumping her things in the hallway where people can take them. Holly is forced to choose from sleeping in her car or returning home to her parents having failed. She drives for home but stops at a bar in her hometown for a drink to help give her courage to face her parents. As she is drinking, a man tells her that her car was just jacked. She is totally down and out so she walks outside for some peace and time to think. She takes shelter from the cold in a barn until she is woken up by the man who told her about her car. She realizes that her rescuer is Jack the boy she always had a crush on.

Jack was worried about Holly. He had saved her car and had it returned to the bar but she was gone. He tracked her down to the barn and took pity on her. He brought her back to his house for the night. He was shocked to find out that she was the girl he always wanted to get to know better in high school but their parents kept them apart. Jack's family lost their ranch when he was a teen. He joined the military and raised enough money to buy the farm back. Now somehow, he has to work to bring it back to its former good condition. He offers Holly a job helping him out.

Both Holly and Jack struggle with their sexual feelings toward each other. Jack wants to be a Daddy to a woman who wants him to protect and guide her. He feels that there is no woman who would want that type of man in her life. Holly wants a Daddy to protect her and discipline her but she is afraid that real Daddies don't exist. Both are afraid to tell each other what the really need.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I have read all of the MC Daddy books that Daisy has written. I enjoyed this short story that has a mention of the MC men and their Littles. And Betty, I cannot wait to see what she might bring to the new series! This story though is a sweet story about a connection that has been between Holly and Jack for years. Fate has brought them back together and that connection has changed into something that they both need. Jack is a vet who bought back his abandoned family ranch. He has always wanted to be a Daddy but felt he was doomed to be alone. It took a combat wound, a job loss, being kicked out and vehicle stolen to bring a great Daddy with his perfect girl. But that is just the tip of what these two go thru to compete one another. It was a great read, well written with great characters. I am anxiously awaiting the next book to see if Jack realizes his dream ranch. This is read as a standalone if you have never the others.

I liked this short story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. Yes, it's a Daddy and little girl story, but it's very sweet. The characters were interesting and likable. Holly and Jack had a history as neighbors. I kind of wish we got to see them confess their feelings for each other from before, but I liked the story as is. I was really impressed with Jack and his drive to get the ranch back to where it was before. Holly was a hard worker, thoughtful, and kind. She deserved to find Jack. It was wonderful that he wanted her the same way that she wanted him. Jack and Holly both had felt like no one could want them with the things they wanted from a relationship and for them to find that with each other was super sweet. I loved that they were essentially each other's Christmas presents. Jack and Holly got the happy ever after that they deserved. I recommend reading this book.

Holly had a crush on Jack when she was young meeting him again she still wants him.
Holly Hardacre is having a bad day as she was late for work due to the snow she got fired then as she leaves her pay packet is snatch out of her hand. As she has no money to pay the landlord he put all her stuff outside in bin bags and some of it had been taken so she goes to a bar for a drink and her car gets taken but a cowboy offers to find it for her. Drunk she walks out of the bar across some fields to the barn she knows is there and burying herself in some hay she falls to sleep. The woman in the bar catches Jack's attention and when her car is jacked her offers to find it which he does but when he gets back to the bar she has gone. Still worried about her the next morning he goes back to the bar and starts looking for her and is surprised when he finds her in his barn.

Holly can’t believe how fast everything spirals out of control, but just as all hope seems lost she winds up back in her hometown, wandering drunk in the snow. Jack is worried when he realizes the girl never came back for her car and when he finds Holly curled up in the barn, he takes her home with him. This is not the way Holly dreamed of reuniting with Jack and as the sparks fly between them, Holly is hoping that he can be the Daddy she has been waiting for. But Jack army’s injuries have left him cold and he realizes after he rescues Holly again that they may be better off apart. Holly refuses to let Jack go without a fight and she will show him how much they need each other she battles to win his heart.

Daisy does DD/lg right. Holly tries to make it in the city, her last day there was the worse. She gets fired from her stupid boss, someone takes her check, she is evicted from her apartment with her things just tossed in the hallway, and then as she is driving home she stops at a bar for a drink and her car gets stolen. She walks to a barn to sleep and is face to face with her childhood crush Jack, but their parents kept them apart. Jack wants to be a daddy and take care of a little girl and Holly wants a daddy to take care of her. Holly thinks that no man wants that and it is just a dream. Jack offers her work and then the sparks start. This is a short story but it is wonderful. I love the DD/lg stories and this is a great one. Holiday and daddies what could be better?

Another great story and im looking forward to reading more in this series. As this is the begining of a crossover series with the Mc as well.
Holly is having a bad day, first she is fired from her job because she was late, then she is chucked out from her flat, now to top it off coming home to Cyprus creek and stoping of for a drink, her car and all her belongings are stolen. The only thing lucky was that she had Terry her tiger in her bag with her at the time.
Jack see this young lady and thinks she is vaguely familiar, finding her in his barn he takes her home and reconises her as a little. But theres no way she would want to be his little as he has nothing much to his name.

Loved this story to pieces definately worth 5 stars

I simply loved reading this story. I love all of Daisy March’s Little stories. This story of a returned serviceman , Jack, who used his disability pension from the service he gave to the country to buy back his family farm that the bank foreclosed on when he was younger. He has always wanted to be a Daddy, but didn’t think he would ever get the chance until he met Holly again after she returned to her home town after she lost everything from her job, apartment and her money. You will love this story of how they both get to have their life’s wish to be in a Dd/Lg relationship, especially at Christmas time.

I was trying to get into the story but it was too jumpy to sink into. I think it could be longer, fuller. There is so much backstory, and even that is rushed, that it seemed like the school girl crush was the story. There are hints about Jack's past, but vague and weirdly inserted. It could be an interesting story, a DD/lg who meet up when they know what they're looking for in a partner. The dialogue is disconnected at times and I had to reread things several times before it made sense in the scene. There were skipped scenes that would have filled a few blanks but they were not followed up. Overall I enjoyed the story, just fell flat in the telling.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Holidays is the worse to end up losing everything but that is what happens with Holly she finds herself heading back home but she and her parents do not see eye to eye on anything. Getting drunk maybe wasn’t the smartest thing to do but she does and hooks up with her childhood crush Jack who is a daddy in every way. Is he willing to be her daddy and take care of everything just like any dad would for their little girls?

A little in trouble

When you get fired, evicted from your apartment and have your last check and car stolen on the same day, you have problems !
Holly decided she needed to move back home with her Mom and Dad.
Jack had his ranch next door to Holly’s Mom and Dad’s.
When Holly stopped at the bar to get a drink before she went home she had her car stolen.
Jack stopped in the bar to tell whomever the car belonged to that he would get it back for them.
Holly was moaning ( to herself) that she wanted to be a little and have her Daddy take care of her and Jack’s biggest wish was to be a Daddy to his own little.
Christmas was here and it was all about miracles, right ?
Loved the read.

After a truly horrible day, Holly is heading home to her parents in defeat when her day gets even worse and she ends up drunk and asleep in a barn. Jack finds goes to find and brings her to his ranch. They are both so afraid of being rejected that they don't come out and say what they want, instead they dance around the subject and each other, before everything comes to light. This is a sweet, short Christmas story about 2 people that find love, understanding and belonging when they weren't expecting it.

Holly's had a crush on Jack since she was a teenager, but she thought he never noticed her. So imagine the worst Christmas Eve ever, and then waking up and there he is. Is he the Daddy she always wanted? Can she be his Little? Jack came back home to take over his folk's place and bring it back, never thinking he'd ever find his Little, he'd given up long ago, but when he found Holly shivering in a barn in the snow, he remembered how he felt when he was younger and thought, can she be My Little? Loved it, Like I said before, what a sweet Christmas treat.

When he finds her...she is nearly frozen.
It is than he realized who she is....the young woman who used to have a crush on him...in old days....but that was a life time ago...or not???

Holly’s Christmas Eve day started out about as bad as possible. She loses her job, loses her money, loses home and then loses her car and belongings. What more could go wrong? However life gets better and the evening is great, thanks in large part to Jack. This DDLG novella has some sweet loving, deserved/desired spankings and great sex. Even better, it sets up the possibility for crossover stories featuring the Devil’s Warriors MC Daddies. 5 Stars.

Holly has lost everything and right at Christmas. She has no alternative but to go home. She doesn't want to be there cuz she and her parents don't get along at all. When she gets drunk she does something stupid and wakes up in Jack's house. Wow, this is her crush from her childhood. He's hot and older and all she wants to do is call him Daddy. Luckily for her, Jack is a Daddy and he wishes did Holly could be his little girl. It may not be such a bad Christmas after all.

Holly got to work only to be fired then when she got outside someone stole her envelope containing her wages. Holly then got into her car to receive a call from her landlord to ask for his money when she started to say she’d been robbed he said her belongings would be outside the room and she had an hour to get them. By the time Holly got there someone had been through the bags. She decided she would have to go home. and face getting a I told you talk from her parents. She was nearly home when she decided she needed a drink to face her parents. While inside her car was taken. Jack said he would go and try to get her car back. By this time Holly had enough then when Jack said if he was her daddy she wouldn’t have another drink Holly got it and called him daddy. When Jack got back to the bar she was gone with a bottle of whiskey. Going across the field to get to her parents it turned wet and her clothes got wet so she took shelter in a barn and covered herself with straw. This is where Jack found her the next day He took her home and that is the start of there story but I’ll let you read the rest yourself

Holly has lost her job, apartment and car all within one day. She is trying to return to her parents’ ranch, but collapsed crossing her neighbor’s field. Jack, her older neighbor didn’t recognize the woman as the young girl next door.

He had left to join the army, then returned to save the ranch from foreclosure. He barely cleared enough to live on much less grow the ranch.

Yet, Holly recognizes him as her Daddy, and Jack recognized her as his Little Girl.

Emotional potential, yet jerky in writing style.

Holly’s looses her job, her money, he car is stolen along with her worldly possessions , so she decides to drown her sorrows almost freezing in the snow. Jack finds her car but when he goes back to the bar to find her she is gone. The next day he tries to find her and once he does offers he a job and so begins their Daddy, Little adventure with some ups and down along the way.

This was a short and cute DDlg holiday novel. Jack is quite the alpha and is quite the hero in this story. Holly is sweet though seems to have a lot of bad luck. Together they have great chemistry and seem very compatible in many ways. I thought this was a sweet romance with virtually no drama.

Holly happens to be drunk and instead of ending up at her parents she falls asleep in Jack's barn. She's always had a crush on him but didn't think that he even noticed her. These two are so afraid of being rejected that they don't communicate with each other like they should. It's a sweet, short Christmas story of a daddy finding his little and the love and understanding of where they belong. Good book

Jack and Holly made a great couple after discovering she wanted to be a Little and want him as her Daddy. I'm not really into this type of story but I did enjoy it. I read it because it is a Christmas story and you won't know if you like this type of story unless you read one. Thanks for giving me a look into a different lifestyle. Written by Cindy :)

What in the bad Wattpad story was this?
She loses her job, apartment and car all in one day?
And the third act breakup was so unnecessary. The displayed “miscommunication” wasn’t even plausible.
