Kayla has been in love three times; once with her teenage best friends, Kris and Ryan and later with her sister's doctor, Adam. Kris and Ryan disappeared overnight from her life with no word leaving her with a broken heart. Adam helped her piece it back together but then her father tore her away from him. She hasn't seen any of the men in years. Now a tragedy has brought her back into their lives. Kris and Ryan are professional hockey players whose lives are completely intermingled and suddenly forever changed. They need help and when Kayla arrives, they know that she is the answer. They never wanted to let her go and now that they have a second chance they are determined not to lose her again. Coincidentally, her reunion with Kris and Ryan also brings her back in contact with Adam. Adam has never gotten over Kayla's disappearance and also desperately wants her. All three men are talking forever but Kayla is torn. She loves all three and it feels that she's being torn in different directions. Does she choose a family with Kris and Ryan or forever with Adam? Her heart says she needs all three.

Everyone knows that I love Reverse Harem. I love all sub-genres of RH but have a particular love for contemporary. I believe that it's the most difficult sub-genre to make believable but when it works, there's nothing better! Changing On The Fly works. The characters are well-thought out, their love for one another and chemistry are undeniable, and the circumstances realistic. My only complaint is the separation period. It doesn't make sense to me from the guy's standpoint. Kris and Ryan could have reached out anytime after leaving. They each had siblings in contact with Kayla and knew her father. Adam seemed resourceful enough to track her down as well. I understand Kayla's initial hurt and insecurity and then when she did try to see them, it ended up hurting her more. I am totally Team Kayla and am not as forgiving with the guys as she is. Their excuses just weren't good enough. That combined with the tabloids would have left me more insecure and less trusting than Kayla. However, this ultimately does not matter. They end up where they are supposed to be when all is said and done. It may not have worked anyway if they hadn't had the period apart.

The characters are fantastic. Kayla is a beautiful, caring, confident woman. Her compassion is her standout feature. Ryan is headstrong, impetuous, and sometimes foolish but he is adorable. His overall good-natured lightheartedness won me over. Kris is more serious and harder on himself but his love of family is everything. And Adam is pretty perfect. He is brilliant, understanding, unselfish to a fault, and his love for Kayla never faltered. Ava is easily a favorite. I love this adorable addition. RH is a fantasy. It fulfills every wish, every desire. These relationships were handled to perfection in my opinion. Kris and Ryan love one another but Kayla comes first. Adam is willing to do anything to make Kayla happy. Ava plays a central role but never overshadows. The villains of the story serve their purpose of strengthening the relationships and family and friends support them. Well done!

This story is realistic and genuine. It's moving and allows for so many emotions throughout. I loved the hockey backdrop. I confess to not knowing too much about this particular sport but I love the sports world. Training, pre-season, games, WAGS, crowd energy, and groupies are all things I am familiar with and they were captured nicely. As were the hospital scenes with the tension and the family atmosphere of the NICU. Everything combined to make this story seem believable.

Then that final scene...first, I loved the reason behind the scene, the setting, etc but the conversation between Brad and Stephen has me wanting the next book NOW! What a tease. I can't wait.

Changing on the Fly is book two in the Red Line series, and is out already as well. In book two we follow Kayla as she is trying to move on with her life after all that has happened in Junior "EH". She is such a strong character, and you can see how she has grown. When an unexpected death happens, that yes had me crying, she is back in the lives of Kris and Ryan, and by chance Adam. Six long years apart has done nothing to stop the chemistry between KK and her guys. At the end of book one I was not really liking Kris and Ryan. I am in just as much love with them as Kayla. They really step up and redeem themselves. The interactions between them all are sweet, and put a smile on face watching their love unfold again. If your looking for a nice emotional read of a young girl coming of age and learning to love, then this heart felt, emotional at times, read is just for you.

Skips the work

I was pretty disappointed in this book and don't see myself continuing to book 3. After years apart Kayla is reunited with Kris, Ryan, and Adam and they all jump immediately into a a relationship no one having any trouble with the other relationships. No one dated any in the decade apart. Neither Ryan or Kris was at all upset everyone else in their families was talking to Kayla while the were apparently dead inside from her being gone. We never got any explanation about Kayla's mom reappearing and the time she spent in college other than she went to therapy. An entire plot point gone. Where is her brother? He plays hockey but they've never run into him? Kayla gives up everything to play house wife? And the dialog is so stuff and formal. It was really disappointing.

Some spoilers but nothing serious. May help you decide if you wanna waste your time.
These books are not what I expected. I was hoping for spicy. While there are sex scenes I just don’t find it spicy. Overall, I’m not impressed. I find some of the dialogue to be cheesy, who actually says ‘tut tut’? A lot of misspelled words and missing words. Also, if you’re hoping to learn about her relationship with her father after she left, what happened when she lived with her mother or anything about her brother, forget it. Nothing is mentioned about any of it at all. If I’m not spread reading through I’m skipping sentences to get through it faster. I wish I didn’t buy all the ebooks cause I can’t return them. It gets 2 stars because I like Adam.

Okay, so this is the sequel to Junior Eh, and there's like a 5-10 year time jump between the two books. Kayla didn't reach out to any of the three guys between the two books. It was like she was done with that life once she was gone. I get it, and she deserved to wash her hands with her father and stepmom. But I don't get how so many characters just disappear. We don't hear about them ever again, or they just pop in for a quick scene and vanish again, such as Kayla's brother. I don't believe he would've let her suffer her stepmom, especially not alone. He was super protective in the beginning before the stepmom really got involved, but then he's gone. We ever see him again in the first or second book, and this man was the sole reason why she and her father were going to the ice rink together. He was the reason she started learning about ice hockey. It was crazy that this character was just gone. But one character's disappearance can be overlooked, okay, but then there was the aunt. There was no way her aunt wouldn't have reached out to her after she could finally move in with her mom, especially since that aunt is the mom's sister! I wish we would've gotten to catch up with the dad/stepmom because I wish to see some character growth from them. Not necessarily a redemption arc, but I wish we would've gotten to see the dad maybe reach out since that is his daughter. We don't even really get to see the mom, but we do get updates about her and Kayla's life at college. When we started this one, she had just got out of a relationship with a hockey player! It was just wild. Anyways we shift gears when her ice hockey players are in need of some help raising a baby, and who else to call than the girl who stayed in a hospital for a month with a premie! It was such a crazy reason to be brought back together, and it was so sad, but she finally got closure and learned what really happened all those years ago. But guess who turns out to be the baby's doctor? The same intern she fell in love with all those years ago! So this one turns into a reverse harem, and it was a lot more romance involved than the first book, and it was just a crazy ride. This one also had more professional hockey since the two hockey players she loved all those years ago went pro.

So by the end of the last book I disliked Kris and Ryan and loved Kayla and Adam. Did that change during this book?
I still think Ryan and Kris were so childish in their behaviour. Not once were they actually confronted and explained the pictures and media hype about the girls. I would have loved to see that. On the other hand I can believe they truly loved her by their behaviour in the book. I still liked Adam more and would not have minded if she ended up with just him.

Still leaves questions about her brother, her family. I would have loved to see her get some sort of closure on it.

Overall I was hardly able to put the book down, the writing was done well (although quite a few spelling mistakes again) It is a good example of reverse Harem genre and if you are into those kinda books you really should gives this a try.

This is the story of Kayla who just broke off her engagement. The book starts with two guys who are going to look after their niece. The mother died and somehow there was a vision of some kind of the woman who died told the guys to find Kayla. So that's what they did and Kayla who was free now fell in like a mother to the little motherless child. She was best friends with the guys but they left her from one day to the other. Leaving her heartbroken and than her parents requested her help with her younger sister where she meets Adam. He is also the doctor for her new charge so things are complicated and she doesn't want to choose because each of these guys have her heart. Read to find out what happens in this rollercoaster.

Kayla has been apart from the men she loves for six years. During that time she meets and also falls in love with Adam, who helps heal her broken heart. When she gets a chance to reconnect with her first loves she takes it. Only to come face to face with Adam again. What to do? How to choose?
Can second chances happen for her and all three men who have her heart.
This is an easy read, but slow at times. I did struggle to get through parts of it, but did finish it. I am a fan of hockey romances and that is what had me downloading this one, however I would not read it again.
If you like hockey romance, second chances, and MMMF trope you will probably like this read.

I really enjoyed this book. This is my first read from this author and I would read from her again. At times, the main characters were a bit annoying but they grew on me. There was so much history between all of these characters, we learned a lot about what happened. Truthfully, the reason why they all split wasn't the best, most realistic way of miscommunication. It was odd, a little immature and unforgiving. When they all say each other again it was very intense. However, I truly enjoyed reading their story. I would read another book about them!

Overall: 4/5

I read the first book and the s3x was meh.

In this book the MM aspect of the relationship was barely addressed, it was mostly just a vague tease. The author seems to have difficulty writing MMF so the MM relationship is glossed over and swords ⚔️ never crossed.

The s3x that does happen is more YA ( young adult ) than hot. The characters were nice and I liked how each of them got along with the other.

I will probably read the next book about Brad and Stephen’s story but I have lower expectations for book three after having read books one and two.

I thoroughly loved this book. Ryan, Kris and Adam are all amazing in their own way. When Kayla comes back in to the guys lives after 6 years things are a little tense at first. All they know is they each want to be apart of her life. Will they be able to make it work. I'm trying not to give away any spoilers. I'll just say this book is really good and you should definitely read it.

It has taken me a while to start reading the second book in this series, because I was so invested in Kayla that I had dreamed up tons of ways she could get her HEA and I was worried that the book would disappoint. Luckily, it didn't. I love Kayla, she's such a beautiful soul, and I am happy with the way she found happiness. This is a book where love beats all...

🥰🥰

Absolutely love the way this story continued. It was an emotional and captivating conclusion to the story. This one was multi POV, which I loved getting more insight on the MMCs. I really enjoyed these characters and the development of all the relationships. I can only hope we see more of them in the rest of the books in the series.

This book was really long but on the boring side. Communication between the 4 people in the relationship was horrible and responsible for most of their issues. I did like the characters and the story line.

The characters are well written. You fall in love with them and want to know what happens to them. But I feel like we don't get enough of a taste of how their harem dynamic work. But it's a good read never the less... Kris Ryan and Adam are scrumptious!

A second chance romance with a soft hearted FMC, 2 hockey players & a doctor. Bit of a tear jerker but in a good way. Loved how they interacted, it gives love a good name

Its a cute

poly / reverse harem love story. It could have been better if the couple antagonists got dealt with and some minor lose ends were closed.

Very slow burn

Was a very slow burn romance. Sweet. Not your typical Menage book. Sweet not steamy. Was a good conclusion to this quad.
