He was born to be a champion,Barbaro loved to run. People all over the world thought that he would be one of the greatest racehorses of all time. People swore that Barbaro would take place in history, like Secretariat the Triple Crown winner. Then, Barabro had a very bad accident that made everyone stop what they were doing to see what happened, after that everything changed. From then he could no longer do racing for fame and excitment, instead he was fighting for his life. The horse that was made for running soon became a great horse that showed hope and courage for the entire world.

This is Barbaro's story for kids. It does its job well, and the poster included was neat.

I was not a kid anymore when Barbaro came along, and so I can't really review it properly. I have no idea how a kid at the time or since would think about this book. It's probably a better choice for them than one of the books about Barbaro intended for adults.
