Wow! Such a clear and insightful book into the world of capital campaigns. The author is very organized and provides plenty of samples. The book can be read from start to finish but it is so well organized that you can also pick and choose which topics your fundraising office needs to focus on. A very helpful resource that I will keep on my shelf for the rest of my career.

An excellent primer on how to conduct a capital campaign! This book is a good starting point for any nonprofit considering their first (or one of their first) sizable campaigns. Full of example language and "real life" stories, the advice is sound and will set anyone up for success. The only down side is the repetitive "visit my website" throughout.

Minus one star for not being Canadian ;). I read this while studying for my CFRE, and as I am preparing to be part of a capital campaign. It is a great read for anyone who will ever be part of a team to raise a large amount of money!
