Lost and unrecognizable, Diana has been hiding out since the accident. That is until a stranger gives her a way to communicate with someone from the other side. For a year, Ben has been stuck in limbo, unable to move on. He’s not ready to give up on his life or his girl. There are rumors amongst the dead of some coming back. What would you do if you had the opportunity for a second chance? Could you make the deal?*** This is a novelette in A.R. Hall's Ethereal World. It is a standalone but takes place after The Ringmistress.
Born and raised in the beautiful Texas Hill Country was a little girl with wild, curly hair and a growing imagination. Storytelling began at an early age as an only child who loved to use her imagination and make up stories. As she grew, she could never decide on what she wanted to be once she was grown up. Her love of making up stories didn’t stop, and it was with that imagination she realized she could live all of those realities and dreams, in stories.
A.R. Hall is a USA Today Bestselling author who lives in Texas with her almost high school sweetheart husband, daughters, dogs, and a growing collection of crafting hobbies. She claims to be an extroverted introvert, but every Pisces likes to keep their head in the clouds. Her other interests include starting gardens, binging tv shows, eating sour candy, and tracking her hydration.
I liked this even though we really don't know what Ben and Jasper will have to do for the second chance they were given. I'm sure they are thinking it's worth getting him mate back.
If you're looking for a different take on a certain genre this ones for you. No, I won't say what genre because I don’t do "spoilers". But Oh. My. Gosh!! This was Thee Best "short story" I've ever read. I'm hooked and can't wait to read more of Ben & Diana.
Quick read but amazing all the less. Well written and moves quick but doesn’t feel rushed. Absolutely loved this story. So happy I picked it up and started it
I really liked this novella it has great concepts and a different take on magic. I thought the characters development was great and the spice was on point.
Messages From the Otherside follows Diana, who's world was turned upside down at the death of her love, Ben. But what she doesn't know is he is still around and he doesn't plan on leaving her.
This story ripped my heart out. Diana feels such pain for the loss of Ben that you can't help but feel it too. And she carries around such guilt for surviving when her class didn't, that it would be unbearable for any normal person.
This is a quick and easy read, but has managed to be more immerseive, heart-wrenching and emotional than books twice this size.
