Carving out memorable pieces, the poet Eugenia Fain makes her mark on the literary world. The pieces that she creates in this marvelous compilation of verse are etched on paper recording her heart. Eugenia stirs the reader to emotions and feelings about the world around him. The topics she uses are ones that most can relate to. Her inspiration is her faith. She takes her cue from poetry forms from many traditions while making those traditions come alive for all time. The poems she writes are unique, yet they follow in the form and tradition of her fellow poets creating an American legacy.

Started this book while on a weekend getaway and couldn't put it down until I finished it. Centering on themes of patience, family, love, and forgiveness, this book paints vivid pictures that make you feel what Jack is feeling during the story and reminds you of the important people, places, and times in your own life. Definitely recommend picking this book up for an uplifting look at life, despite any hardships or speedbumps that may come along the way. Looking forward to reading more from this author!
