This book is a new edition (6th ed. Came out in 1973), the second volume of a course of theoretical physics, who earned fame in our country and abroad z'a. That is dedicated to the classical theory of the electromagnetic and gravitational fields. It outlines the basis of the special theory of relativity, the output equation of electrodynamics of the principle of least action, spread of questions and emission of electromagnetic waves. The last chapters of the book are devoted to the general theory of relativity. In parallel with the development of this theory introduces the basics of tensor analysis. For university students, students of physical specialties of higher educational institutions, as well as for graduate students in related disciplines.
