5 things from No Filter by Lisa Renee
1) Chance is a single dad videographer from San Diego
2) Melissa, single mum from Australia brought on to do the wedding photography
3) Hospital visit, snorkeling, epic photo shoots
4)"enemies to lovers" Christian Rom-com, fun and flirty
5)"Chance showed why he was single in the first place, and until he grew up and demonstrated responsibility, he’d remain unmarried."

Another great read from Lisa Renee!. I love the Australian culture coming through in her writing. This is a fun book where cultures and strong personalities clash, then learn to work together.

Lisa Renee has written another enjoyable, fun international romance that pairs two people from across the world with each other. This is Book 4 in the Single Again series but absolutely reads as a stand alone. Book 1 expands on the early history of Melissa as a teenager, and Book 3 tells Lachlan and Bethany's story (Polarized Love is fantastic - you should read it!) But Lisa does a wonderful job of bringing you up to speed in a natural way to where you can enjoy reading No Filter without any problems.
About No Filter:

I love stories set in California and set on the coast - even better! Her descriptions were beautifully written and spot on (California girl here!)

I enjoyed the fun banter between two well established, independent and stubborn single parents. It was refreshing to see how well custody was handled in this story, Instead of pitting the hero against his ex with all kinds of negative drama, Lisa paints a picture of a hero full of compassion and optimism, even while he's falling in love with someone else. Lisa is adept at creating swoony worthy and endearing heroes paired with independent and strong heroines that have their own well thought out goals.

I think what draws me in most to Lisa's books is that star-crossed love conflict - where two people from two vastly different countries fall in love.

If you enjoy contemporary Christian romance, you'll not be disappointed with this one.

No Filter is a great book by Lisa Renee. It is Book Four in the Single Again Series but the first one that I have read. I felt this could be a stand-alone book, but I would not mind reading the earlier books. If you follow the series, it gives an update on previous characters.
Melissa Turner is a food photographer and a wedding photographer on the side in Perth, Australia. She is a single mother with a daughter, Hannah, who is five years old. She is trying to provide for Hannah and includes her in many of her activities, many around her church family. She has been asked by her pastor to photograph the wedding of his sister in America. In return for the airfare and a place to stay, Melissa agrees to make the trip with Hannah and photograph the wedding of Kayce and Daniel.
Chance McMillan, a friend of the groom Daniel, has been asked to be a videographer for his wedding in San Diego. Chance is not too keen on having an amateur photographer work with him on the project, but he agrees to show her around and work with her for the event. He also has a son, Aiden, who he is providing for. The mother is not currently in the picture but does make an appearance in the book.
The author weaves past characters into the development of the story between Melissa and Chance and it is a delightful Christian novel, one that I recommend.

No Filter is the fourth book in the Single Again series and it is my first book by Ms. Renee. Even though I have not read the other books in this series, this was easily read as a standalone. It's a really sweet and charming story. It was very well-written and pulled me in right from the start. The characters were well-developed and endearing and you can't help but fall in love with them. The author did a really nice job of bringing the story and characters to life with her vivid descriptions and attention to details. Chance and Melissa were really great characters, realistic and easy to relate to, and I just completely fell in love with the kids. A very entertaining and enjoyable read that's certain to warm your heart and bring a smile to your face. I am very glad I had the chance to read this story! I now have a new author to follow! I look forward to reading more of Ms. Renee's books!

I received a complimentary copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This is the first book I've read by Lisa Renee. I enjoyed the book, though I'd have liked to smack Melissa upside the head for being such a pain in the neck. I liked Chance's character, and I really liked the kids! Melissa thought Chance needed to grow up, but honestly, Melissa was the one that needed to! She was more concerned with keeping people out than she was on having fun with her daughter, who even told her she needed to laugh more! She made things harder for herself that she needed to. Chance had found a good balance in his life as a single dad, enjoying the time he spent with his son.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.

You will enjoy reading about the meeting of Australian food photographer Melissa and American videographer Chance when he doesn't think Melissa is qualified to take wedding photos! Both Melissa and Chance have strong personalities! I admired single mom Melissa for putting her daughter's needs before beginning a relationship with single dad Chance! However, their young children hit it off from the start! You will wonder, as they do, how a relationship can be possible between California and Australia! I recommend the contemporary story No Filter to others. I received a complimentary e-book from the author. This is my honest opinion.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author so I was a little leary to come in on book 4. However, now I’m hooked! The story really does stand alone because I had no trouble following, but now I’m curious about the other couples I met and how they got together.
I loved the cultural aspects of the book with characters coming from such different places yet sharing the bond of single parent-hood. The kids were tons of fun and added so much to the storyline. Can’t wait to read more by Lisa Renee!

A fun and flirty Romcom with sassy characters and spontaneous attraction drawing Chance and Melissa together. The kids added an extra dash of entertainment while Melissa struggled to keep Chance at arms length. I enjoyed this book with its career driven heroine. I loved the dual photography angle and seeing how these opposites might manage to find their way clear of bad angles to find the perfectly framed ending.

This is my first book by Lisa Renee and since it is book 4 of the series it can be read as a stand alone. However, I will need to go back and read the other stories because I am curious! I loved these strong characters and their kids, but could they make a long distance relationship work? I suggest you read this one to find out! Fun book!
I received an advance copy of this book from the author, however, I voluntarily wrote an honest review. All opinions are strictly my own.

I loved the personality differences between Melissa and Chance. Chance would have driven me crazy in real life (and he did kind of drive Melissa crazy) but it was sweet how they came together at the end. I also loved how their careers worked into the story (you'll have to read it to see what I mean... and I do recommend you read it!

She is from Australia - taking pictures at her friends request. He is from California, videoing at his friends request. And they click - well sort of. Can anything ever happen when they live so far apart and neither is willing to move. . . . .ABSOLUTELY AN AMAZING BOOK
