Nagash: the undying king was a good read I really enjoyed it unfortunately the second story Neferata: Mortarch of blood really wasn't that interesting I couldn't finish it and I tried, I ended up putting it down after a hundred or so pages.

I found it easier to finish the second story despite it jumping timeline. It is short and intense. I found i am struggling to finish the first one, as the lead character is so weak and indecisive.

Zwei Geschichten in einem Band, die zusammen eine Durchschnittsbewertung ergeben. Denn die erste Geschichte mochte ich sehr, die zweite weniger. Wobei das daran liegt, dass ich mit Vampiren einfach nichts anfangen kann. Handwerkstechnisch hat Annandale nichts falsch gemacht.

Aber mir gefielen die Beschreibungen von offenen Wunden, Würmern und anderen ekligen Krankheitsmerkmalen irgendwie besser. Ach ja, wer über einen schwachen Magen verfügt, sollte diesen Text Reynolds nicht lesen. Oder das Buch. Oder überhaupt etwas von Warhammer ;)
