Just finished reading the latest edition of this, and it’s a tough one to rate!
Lots of great bits that I found encouraging and challenging, and wonderful practical advice. Inspired by some of the ideas for implementing at the end of each section.
There was also a fair amount that felt a bit stretched - I didn’t agree with a few parts that attempted to explain the role of worship leader, and I personally didn’t love some of the many metaphors used.
I did appreciate how much of the book is grounded in solid biblical truth though; much of it draws back to that.
I’d definitely recommend it to church worship groups that want to explore their role more and are looking for discussion points and practical advice.
