This is a bittersweet love story between Georgia Brooks and Andrew Bryant. They had fallen in love 3 years ago but, out of the blue, Andrew wanted nothing more to do with her and left her without a reason why. Andrew is an heir to billions and has earned even more himself with his company that owns Fresh Foods. It has prospered and his grocery stores have become internationally famous. Three years ago, he was basically terrified that friends would want to be with him for his money and not for himself. He held this fear closely and kept his secret from everybody, including his girlfriend. He didn't even give Georgia a chance to prove him wrong. Three years later, he is standing in her bakery, ordering one of her famous pastries. He is going to try to get her back, even if he has to apologize to her every day for the rest of his life. She doesn't trust him and refuses to have anything to do with him. She's still hurting from the cruel way he dismissed her three years ago. It doesn't deter him from coming back every morning for his fruit tart. Slowly she begins to open up to the idea of allowing him back in. Her sister and mother get into the action and encourage her to give him another chance. They are the strongest, most honest characters and contribute to the many layers of the story. Finally, after trying and failing to go through with it, he tells her the truth about the fears that he had. She has to decide if it's good enough to let him all the way back into her life. Their road together is rocky but their hearts finally decide what's right. The epilogue is essential to the happy ending!

A low key second chance story about a H who breaks up with h as he feels she is being a distraction in his career path; on the rebound she gets in an abusive relationship. H meets her later and decides that he has always loved her and pursues her. The abusive ex makes a cameo but is foiled by H.
The H was a beta character; and somewhat sweetly childish in his interactions with h's older sister; they fight a lot. He is scared and very apologetic towards h who is an alpha character; I was convinced by his apology; mainly because H ie very well aware that he only has to put a foot wrong and h, her sister and their mother will go for him; also h has no compunctions with walking away whenever she is unhappy or upset.
All in all a quick read with some laugh out loud moments ..

I gave this book 5 stars, this was the first book I read by this author. I really like it, it's was a quick read. I was able to read it in one sitting.
Georgia and Andrew were a couple three years ago, she was head of heels in love with him, but he got scared of how strong his feelings were getting for her, and afraid that it might interfere with his newly acquired business as an heir to his billionaire fathers company, he broke up with her the cruelest way, and just ran....... Unfortunately by the time his dumb ass realized that he had made a mistake, she had run herself and disappeared until now when he found her selling delicious pastries tarts at a their local bakery.
Trying to win her trust back was going to be the biggest battle of his life.
Georgia runaway from her abusive ex boyfriend Josh. She is a broken hearted again, she afraid, doesn't trust anyone and is completely broke. Building trust and forgiveness is not going to be an easy thing for her, once Andrew starts coming to the bakery every single day day for his pastry.
This was a story about have a second chance at love, learning how to make a mistake and grow from it. It was also about trusting again in love, and forgiveness. I loved her sister Caitlin and her mom Lorraine they were awesome.

ONE FANTASTIC READ!!!
Man, oh man! Talk about nowhere to hide from psychos. A strong storyline and intense plot that Crystal totally nails pull you deeper until everything else ceases to exist. All the drama, abuse, heartache, lies, betrayal, danger and suspense increases while tension spirals. A whirlwind of emotions and events that pulls those heartstrings. Not knowing who to trust or friend from foe. Heartbreak, fear, uncertainty, hope and love bring a short reprieve until all the secrets come home to roost. Feeling all her walls crumbling around her, she does the only thing she knows. She runs, only this time someone comes to retrieve her personally. The chemistry between the two main characters is white hot, off the charts explosive and the sparks fly. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Crystal did a remarkable job bringing this read to life. Awesome job Crystal, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

This is a "sweet" second chance romance about Georgia Brooks who finds herself caught between 2 ex -boyfriends. Andrew who is still crazy about her and wants to win her back. Then there is Josh, who she has run away from because he was crazy and abusive, but now he is sending her threatening messages and is determine to find her.
Upon returning to her hometown Georgia spends all of her time in the bakery where she is known for her famous "tart". Andrew Bryant visits her around noon everyday and buys one of her famous tarts and everyday he apologizes for the way he hurt her when he ended things suddenly 3 years ago. Georgia doesn't want to hear his apologies and she gives him cold shoulder. Andrew is determined to win her back, but she knows he has secrets he's hiding and once she finds out what those secrets are will she be able to forgive him?

Andrew regretted breaking it off with Georgia and wanted another chance - another chance at a relationship between them and then he wants her to enter into a business agreement with him. He knew that she will be sceptical and think that his attraction to her is a smoke screen for him actually wanting her to do business with him. These make for some misunderstandings but in the end he is able to show her that he really do love her and wants a future with her - first and foremost as his life partner and then as business partner. A good read all in all .

Georgina is my kind of gal
I really like that this was a fun read. Georgina is a tough cookie of a character it doesn't take nonsense from anybody. I like that about her. Made me keep wanting to read on. Andrew is quite likable, but I'm not sure if he can handle Georgina LOL! That is what makes this story all the more fun to read. Usually the billionaire is in control, nice to see that the average girl working for a living can keep him off balance. Nice chemistry between the characters.

An amazing, interesting second chance romance – quite a page turner. The storyline is flawless and the writing is fluid and flows smoothly. It is a beautifully written, well developed story that is a fast pace page turner with some drama, twists, witty banter, and humour. The chemistry between Andrew and Georgia is intense and their sex scenes are well-written and HOT! Such an easy read, easily read in one sitting, definitely recommended.

I enjoyed this book. The story line was good and flowed well and the characters were well developed. I like the fact that the Georgia did not jump at the chance to reunite with the Andrew after he broke her heart. I did not, however, understand why she was so upset when Andrew informed her that he was in town researching bakeries (maybe I missed something).

Great second chance story!
Can people change and be worthy of second chance? Can shattered heart be mend and trust rebuild?
I loved this second chance love story. Characters were so likeable and the plot was interesting enough to keep me reading into the late night.
I loved how there were enough of mystery around main hero and the twists in the plot that allow him to prove he's changed. But would that be enough to win his dream girl back?

Georgia is Heart broken when Andrew breaks up with her publicly and still remembers it like it was yesterday even though it’s been 3 years. I love how Andrew tried to win her back, but she’s been burned by him and another. Can she get past it and does she even want too.

Georgia and Andrew must deal with insecurity, previous lies, a stalker, and death threats in their attempt to achieve a HEA. Characters were moderately developed. I think more time on Andrew’s feelings and background could have been explored. Over all, good quick read!

Georgia and Andrew are wonderful characters. Andrew has a lot of work to do to win Georgia over. It is interesting and heartwarming how hard Andrew tries to understand Georgia. It is a page turner and easy to read romance. It is entertaining and a happy ever after. I received this book as an ARC and I am voluntarily reviewing this book.

Short sweet romance about Georgia and Andrew, the perfect couple were it not for the fact that Georgia hates Andrew. Or does she? She also has a homicidal ex-boyfriend. Nice story with engaging characters. Georgia's sister is hilarious! Rather short however. Perfect for a pleasant afternoon read.

I loved this book. You could feel Georgia's heartache over Andrew up and leaving her. Andrew knew she was his heart. He's never stopped loving her . The author dobe great with the drama from Georgia ls ex not leaving her alone. This is a book you will read more then once

Very good read. I like how the author used things happening in the news to bring a good story to her readers. I enjoyed the secondary charactors and am wondering if we will be hearing from them in the future.

This was assuredly one of the most endearing pieces I've ever read! It seems that not only were Georgia and Andrew's story bittersweet and filled with secrets, there was a lack of trust in their relationship as well. Well, this was more on Andrew's part than anything when that affected his ability to see the truth in Georgia in their past. Their reconciliation was tough but it took a great effort on Georgia to try to trust him with her heart once again. With the help of her sister and mother, she realized Andrew's changes but what was there before didn't entirely go away those years ago. Worthy!
