This is my review of the entire Seventh Day series by Leslie Swartz. I finished the last book 2 weeks ago and a few thoughts: First, FINALLY an urban fantasy book with REAL diversity. White, Black, Latin, Middle Eastern, Asian, and biracial characters. Gay, straight, pan, ace, and trans characters. All with whole stories. Second, the character development is deep and brilliant. They feel like real people, all of them, not just the mains. Third, the dialogue is excellent. Funny, realistic, and vivid. I know who's speaking before I see the tag, the personalities are that clear. Lastly, the story. Holy shit. There are twists upon twists. Each book wraps up it's plots and feeds into the next one and they all fit together so perfectly with mind-blowing things being revealed that relate to previous books. The end wraps up everything perfectly. I have no unanswered questions and zero complaints. It's a rollercoaster of emotion and wtf moments and I am here for it.
