A helpful book in taking the Deuteronomical ceremonies and pointing to their fulfillment in Christ’s righteous life, substitutionary death, and ongoing work of intercession for his people.
A good overview, but certainly not exhaustive, I wish he would have used more cross referencing to show direct correlations between the Pentateuch and Hebrews. He seems to be in agreement with Bishop Wescott’s view of the scriptures and several times references his dispensational view of the church as a stand in for physical Israel who will one day retake their place in the center of God’s covenant.
