This book is a wonderful read for all ages. This book explores loss and pain in an imagitive way! This book highlights the strength of friendship and the power of leaning on one another in our time of need.
This is a touching story about the power of friendship with absolutely delightful illustrations. My daughter enjoyed it very much, especially the part where the boy teaches the fish to swim. There are even coloring pages in the hardcopy, so we will have to buy one of those.
Sweet story! Nice story about encouraging kids to go outside and venture into new world. This is a story of a boy who had a pet fish. The fish doesnt know how to swim and the boy tried his best to help the fish. The story is funny at times. Although I wish that there would be less portion of illustrations in thoughts (clouds), illustrations are nice. Overall, a good read for friendship and encouraging children to step outside of their bubble.
This book was funny and very creative. My kids laughed with joy because they said a fish is supposed to know how to swim, especially that it lives in water. Good read
I loved it from the title! A fish that does not know how to swim?! Ha! As the story went on, I love how the author developed the theme--comparing the fish being stagnate in the fish bowl with the boy's decision to avoid facing his conflict. Well done!
The illustrations are so beautiful and the story is so interesting. I also liked the bond between the young boy and the fish. I highly recommend this book!
