This is an anthology of mostly-above-average original horror stories involving ghosts and a few other such supernatural creepies. Most memorable were A Certain Slant of Light by Christopher Conlon, Finishing the Dig by Patricia J. Esposito, Behind the Black by Michael R. Colangelo (which is -really- dark), The Jacaranda Smile by Gemma Files, and The Suicide Chairs by Simon Bestwick. I believe my two favorites were Whisper My Name by Gary A. Braunbeck (a surprisingly graphic sex-after-death story; ghost voyeurs; who knew?) and Certain Death for a Known Person by Steve Duffy, a really excellent, moody and brooding piece.
A good anthology of interesting ghost tales from around the world. Some great tales by talented authors -- Kelly has done a great job of collecting and showcasing these stories together. My favourite tale in the collection is the final one by Steve Duffy entitled "Certain Death for a Known Person" which left me with a wonderfully disturbed chill.
