This book is good enough if you’re looking for something that explains the basics of TS. It’s mainly about Dylan trying to decide if he should tell his third grade class about his Tourette Syndrome or not. Spoiler alert: he does, and everyone accepts him. I suppose this could be encouraging for those struggling with the same decision. I was hoping for more info on strategies for kids to control or cope with tics, but I guess it’s not that kind of book. If you or your child has TS, this won’t tell you anything you don’t already know, but it does include a nice guide for teachers and some additional resources to learn more.
