The punches keep coming for Tyler and Isabella. The rollercoaster this series is taking me on is addictive and this book is only the half way mark of the series. There’s so much happening here it’s hard to walk away from

Isabelle and Tyler are back and things are even crazier. This round Isabelle’s mom has paid a visit. Along with this visit she has brought trouble. Not the kind of trouble that stays for dinner, but the one where you need to lock it up and batting down the hatches. I was very intrigued with the continuation of this story. This time around though for me the book seems more tamed. I was looking for the punch below the belt, as well as some hot love making. The story gives the readers a lot of information on a number of things. Maybe this information helps in the future books. That would be awesome. It’s like keeping the readers on their toes.

Tyler and Isabella’s story continues with plenty of drama, suspense and steam. Both characters have lots of depth and the story really draws you in. Great characters with lots of twist and turns. Some secrets are revealed. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!

The Perfect Lie continues with Isabelle trying to save Tyler after he was shot as they others left them in the desert. Now Tyler and Isabelle find they are once again on the run as Tyler needs to be tended to first for his gunshot wound. Neither one is willing to really open up and talk about what do do next especially when Isabelle knowing they need money returns to the desert and retrieves money from one of the containers so they can start over. Once she gets Tyler to safety, she rents a cabin in the mountains for him to heal she shows him that she was able to take $95,000. Tyler is elated, this just might be enough to get him a new identity and move on. Isabelle wants Tyler to confront Mallory who is the only one wanting to prove that Tyler is innocent and had been set up but he wants her to leave it alone. The feelings and desire these two have for each other is the only thing that is allowing them a little bit of freedom, but once again lies will come between them. When Isabel reaches out to Mallory her phone has been detected by the men who have her mother as they know about the money and where they are staying. She now has to lie to Tyler as she takes all of the money to drop it off, but once she gets to the drop off point she is gagged and blindfolded only to find her mother is with her. Once they have the money they release both of them as she will have a week to come up with the rest. This story had so many twists and turns through out this book. Who are these men and how did they know about the money she took who are they working with? Tyler is left angry and devastated that Isabelle betrayed him as the police are after him, he has only one choice to get a new identity and do what he does best amass a fortune as a day trader to start over. Returning to the cabin, Isabelle finds Tyler is gone and has no choice but to return home before the police shows up with her selfish mother who won't give her the answers she seeks. Now Isabelle is tormented with the guilt and pain for hurting Tyler as well as having to deal with her mother, Now she is in debt , lost the job she loves and is once again being threatened to come up with the remaining $10.000. At times you want to yell and scream at all of the wrong choices Isabelle makes as he never thinks before she acts, will she ever learn to think before she acts? We now find a year has passed and Tyler is once again on top of his game with all of the wealth he has amassed. But one thing is missing in his life Isabelle and he is left wondering if now is the time he should try and clear his name as he was definitely set up. Will he ever learn who masterminded this whole plan to destroy his life? Once again Charlotte Byrd has left us in suspense with this series as we have to wait for the next book - The Perfect Life to find out if Tyler will find the answers he seeks and will he ever confront Isabelle.

SOME BACKGROUND: Three years earlier, former hedge-fund investor Tyler McDermott was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for the killing of his wife, her lover and her unborn child but like all men accused of such heinous crimes, Tyler claims he walked into the crime scene never knowing the extent of his wife’s infidelity. After escaping prison with two other inmates, and no where to go, Tyler heads to the last safe haven, to the woman he once loved, a long time ago. Enter speech pathologist Isabelle Nesbitt. Currently on the run together, Tyler and Isabelle must outrun law enforcement, as well as the men searching for Isabelle for sins of the mother.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Tyler and Isabelle) THE PERFECT LIE follows in the aftermath of Tyler and Isabelle, once again, loosing everything in the face of betrayal, and our couple struggling to stay under the radar. Tyler get shot by his friend that he was in prison.

I can’t take Tyler to a hospital because they would recognize him and they would put him back in prison. The lady friend of his that owes him $300,00 has us out in the desert digging up barrels of money to repay him some of what she owes. Then he get shot. I persuade a vet to take out the bullet at gunpoint. Then we find a cabin to rent while Tyler recovers. I get a call again the threatens to kill my mom, if I don’t pay them $100,000 that she owes them. So I steal the $92,000 and run from Tyler. I meet up with the people that have my mother and pay them. They kidnapped me and I’m in their van. Surprise, surprise, my mother is in the van also. Eventually they let us go. So, we fly back to Pennsylvania and go to my house. My mother just loves my house and she mentions she will pay back every cent of the $100,000. Well first she needs a job. I go back to work and my boss is not happy with me. I took to many days off and I didn’t give her any notice. So she fires me, now what am I going to do? I really enjoy this author. So many twists and turns, you have to stay on you toes. Will Tyler and Isabelle get back together? Hopefully I find out in the next book.

This is book three in The Perfect Stranger Series and it continues the story of Tyler and Isabelle. Tyler is injured and Isabelle will do everything that she can to save his life and protect him but what and where can they go after to stay hidden and off the grid as the threats continue. Tyler and Isabelle still have strong chemistry between them and they are in love but will it be enough when things take a turn for the worse. This series just keeps getting better and better with each book and I couldn't put it down as there are so many twists and turns and the characters and storyline makes this book so addictive and omg what a cliff hanger I definitely wasn't expecting that to happen. Charlotte Byrd is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book but remember that it is not a standalone book and you will need to read the previous books to understand the story and I can't wait to read the next book.

I still like this series but I am kinds upset with Isabelle for not leaving Tyler a message so that he wouldn't think the worst of her and I am upset with Tyler for not understanding that Tessa and his friend from prison was out for their selves. Tessa could have helped him the first time. She could have just said that he was with her and not tell what they were doing. I still like this story, I wish it could have been put like in two long books instead of 5 or six smaller books. i am still a Charlotte Byrd fan and I like this story even though; Tyler and Isabelle have not gotten back together, and everything is falling apart for Isabelle. I believe if she had trusted Tyler, it would have been a different story, but I am not the one that thought of this plot line much less how each story would go to get me to what I want, a happy ending for the two of them. Makes me want to say hmm... This is a good series and a there are a lot of secrets and lies and seemingly betrayal going on.

This is book three in The Perfect Stranger Series and it continues the story of Tyler and Isabelle.

After Tyler gets shot by his so called friend, Isabelle does everything she can to save his life, going to the hospital isn't an option so instead she bribes a vet to tend to him. while he is sleeping she goes back to the desert to retrieve some of the money that they left behind.

when Isabelle gets a call demanding the money that her mother owes and they will kill her mother if she doesn't pay up, she takes all of Tyler's money to pay it off, but when she returns to the cabin, Tyler is gone.

Will they ever get back together? has her mother something to do with the money that was handed over? who knows. These books are full of suspense and mystery that keeps you turning the pages, I cant wait to read the next book to see where this story goes, it is a gripping story that makes you want more!

I loved this suspenseful book. Isabelle and Tyler are full of surprises—lots of lies, secrets, betrayal, turmoil, heartbreak, drama, kidnapping and passion. I was captivated from start to finish. THE PERFECT LIE was so intriguing with its twists and turns—some you see coming, some you don’t. With the mystery and suspense, I was holding my breathe because it was a tangled mess of lies, secrets, and whodunit. Destiny brought Tyler and Isabelle together—and their story is one you will want to read. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happened next. Not all of the surprises are pleasant ones, but there is a certain satisfaction in experiencing a thread that is so obstinately unexpected. Find out how Isabelle repaid her mother’s debt—you will be amazed! Will Tyler forgive Isabelle for her betrayal? This is the third book in the Perfect Stranger series and it continues Tyler and Isabelle’s journey. It is not a standalone. The storyline continues as things are spiraling further out of control. Tyler and Isabelle are on the run and doing their best to stay under the radar. This is made challenging as Isabelle is receiving some threatening phone calls. Can they weather the brewing storm or will they go their separate ways? Told in dual perspective, it is rife with betrayal, secrets, suspense, twists and turns and drama. Ms. Byrd continues to pen those storylines that keep readers glued to their seats as she brings them into her world. I cannot wait to read the next book.

I did not read the first two books in this series....I down loaded three books (#3,#4, and #5). I have not read this author before this book. I don't think this author did a very good job explaining all that happened in the first two books, so I felt like I came in the middle, which I did. I almost stopped reading this book, but my Kindle told me I only had a couple of hours left in the book, so I soldiered on. The revelations in this book were not all that riveting. Also, she switches between the two main characters, but it would have been helpful it she included what was going on with the mother, from the mother's point of view....it may have clarified some things.

Hence this series is okay and definitely not the best I've read....

Isabelle and Tyler's story continues to unfold and the tension, turmoil and emotion increase as things pick up from the last book. Yes, this is the third book in an ongoing series and these books must be read in order. I liked where this book took this duo relationship wise. I thought that this added a big dose of extra realism to this read. With so much more than desire and affection in play, the stress and pressures are taking a toll. As always there is an abundance of drama, intensity, suspense, action and twists and turns that will have you rushing through the pages, only to be left desperate for the next book. Of my own accord I am posting a unsolicited review.

The drama. Continue in the perfect lie with lots of suspense.This story would draw you in, due to the depths of the characters.After the shooting of Tyler ,they went back to the desert to collect the rest of the money.Isabelle rent a cabin,the she received a call for the people who took her mother ,demanding payments.Isabelle left to with the money ,without informing Tyler who was asleep.Finding the money and Isabelle gone and a neighbour at the door who he thinks recognize him Tyler has to act fast before being caught.Would the authorities get to both of them.You just have to read to find out. I volunteer to review this book for an arc copy.

This series is very addictive.
With every single book so far Tyler and Isabelle's story becomes more mysterious and intriguing.
Not knowing what the future holds for these two characters,or if their love can even survive being on the run.
Tyler is hurt and Isabelle wants to help him no matter what the cost.
Charlotte Byrd takes you on a suspenseful journey twisting and turning as we go,her writing draws you in and I feel exhausted after reading and in anticipation for the book 4.
A fantastic read that I could not put down.

I just finished this story and it is an awesome book. I know there is more to come and I can not wait. Charlotte Byrd can take you on a journey and keep your attention for hours on end. I love all the twists and turns in this story and how it is written back and forth between the two main characters, Isabelle and Tyler. There are different plots in this story that keeps your interest. I had a hard time putting this book down, it is a page-turner. I highly recommend this series. This is the third book in the Perfect Stranger series by Charlotte Byrd. You need to have read the first two books in the series or you will be lost reading this one. It picks up where book two ends. This is a fast paced book that hooks you at the beginning and makes you want to keep reading it until the end. There is lots of things happening and of course it ends in a cliffhanger, again so you need to wait until book four to figure out what will happen. Good characters and story line. Will they ever catch a break?

Its getting better!

Poor Isabelle. Tyler has put her through so much but she did decide to go. However, this third book had a lot of suspense that kept me engaged. Is Isabelle really as innocent as she is portrayed or is she going to figure out who she really is? In this book, she is still not standing her ground enough. Tyler not wanting to dig into his case also has mg interest piqued. If he didn't do it, why not get to the bottom of it a d find out who really did it. The twists and turns for these 2...will their relationship make it?

Tyler and Isabelle, still on the run. Then lies have Isabelle runaway.
After saving her mother and paying off her debts, she thinks she will be on top of
things, until she is not. Tyler escapes just in time. He has to start a new life, without
the woman he loves, and he does not trust anymore. I enjoyed the fast pace. I found her mother annoying. I am wondering what she is hiding.

This tale just gets better and better, the twists and turns are compelling and captivating.

I guess its important to always be honest with each other as when Isabelle keeps things from Tyler then events spiral out of control and without trust nothing else matters.

The cliff hanger is gripping as usual and I cant wait to get my hands on the Perfect Life.

I can't believe how exhilarating Tyler and Isabelle's story is. Reading their story has all my sense on high alert cause I know something is about to go up in flames. If your a adrenaline junkie read this series and feel the satisfaction. This does end in a cliffhanger , but the next book will be worth the wait.

The Perfect Lie is a great continuation of Isabelle and Tyler's story. We pick back up at that cliffhanger and Tyler's been shot. Isabelle saves his life then he feels she's betrayed him. They both go their own ways. Plenty of ups and downs. There's intrigue, drama, mystery, lies, danger, betrayal and suspense. Well written with interesting storyline and great characters. Looking forward to The Perfect Life next.

I am truly sorry not to give 5 stars because The problem was I loved the first 2 books in the series and although I did really enjoy this one I didn’t love it as much, not sure why? 🤷‍♀️ Cannot wait for the next book though, especially with the ending!
