After being neck deep in the dark and twisted this was a great reprieve!

I have been following in Packs writing career since I discovered her book ‘Kings of Mountain-brook Academy’ and I’m amazed at how far she has come!

This was great work by her I enjoyed this. Very easy to read, a lot of great character build and development and a great plot that I really sunk my teeth into. The characters were great. I’d have to say this is the first we are seeing an adult romance by Pack and it was a great dimension to her. We saw a different side to her that proved she doesn’t only write contemporary or high school romance/bully romance.

It’s a new world and new couple we get to explore and they were great. The drama was good and there wasn’t too much which would make it feel overly dramatic but it was all very precise and great writing from her. I would have like a couple plot twists that would have kept us on our toes but what we got was great and I can’t wait to see what else she has coming.

Great world build, easy to read and a HEA that will melt the heart. Absolutely amazing story that you can help but have the heart string pulled and a great in between book to break up the funk of what you may be reading.

This book is very different than Jessica's usual fare. There is no kickass take-no-prisoners woman complicated by a drop dead gorgeous guy who tries to control her. But there are all the feels and a wonderful story that will stick with you long after you have closed your kindle.
Piper and Caelan have a rocky start, and things go downhill from there. After jilting her best friend Tanner at the altar, Piper has been in Europe for the past 6 months, traveling and photographing it for her memories. She is hiding a big secret from everyone, something that she did while she was across the ocean. She is not ready to talk about it yet. She knows everyone will hate her, especially Caelan.
Thankfully, this book does end with an HEA after some wonderful Epilogues! This young author has some amazing talent and add her to your go-to a list!

This was such an emotional story with all the guilt and anxiety Piper suffered.
Even though she was so broken at times, I still saw so much strength in her character.
The way J.N Pack ever so slowly revealed the truth behind her pain and how everyone reacted to it, kept me on the edge of my seat. Unable to put this book down as soon as I started it.

Raw and gritty, this story hit me in all my feels. Jess took a situation that could happen in real life and made a beautiful story of it. She broke free from her usual writing and did not disappoint. Despite the heartwrenching part of this story, it was sweet. I loved how Piper grew and empathized with her every step of the way.

A heartbreaking story of a young woman who makes a choice for her future which has detrimental effects on her life. The challenges she faced were many and the uphill struggle to prove her worth to her new love was almost impossible. Prejudice follows her based on her actions and not on a clear understanding of why she felt the need to act as she did. It was an emotional read.

This is the 2nd book I've read written by J.N. Pack; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Definitely a must read, this took me through every emotion and repeated itself as I write this review, it made want to read quickly but not come to the end. Piper has a story to tell so get this book because it's her story and her secrets, I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Bring your tissue with this book. J.N Pack is not holding back in this book. Piper (which I love her name) has a secret she has kept from everyone. But now she is back in town and with her friends and family and everything is falling apart. This book you can feel every emotion J.N Pack was writing. I can't wait to read more from this year. Again have a box of tissue.

I sobbed through most of this book. One might consider that a deterrent to continue reading, but I. Couldn’t. Put. It. Down. I had to know what happened next. Piper’s determination to self destruct was heartbreaking. If you’ve ever struggled with anxiety or depression in real life, you will absolutely relate to her struggles. Also, her best friend Meggie is a badass. Where Piper refuses to defend herself, Meggie more than makes up for it. The only thing that was missing for me was Kenzie not getting her comeuppance. She was a HORRIBLE and VILE bully and I was looking forward to her spectacular fall. But that just may be my own vengeful soul talking lol. I definitely recommend reading this book.
