OUT OF THE SWEEPING SPLENDOR OF A GREAT PIONEER STATE COMES THE SEARING SAGA OF THREE PASSIONATE WOMEN AND THE LAND THEY LOVED...

VINNIE--
Orphaned by the Civil War, she courageously began anew in a land where dreams could prosper or perish, and where a woman's love was the strength that let men survive.

KATIE--
Vinnie's daughter, born into an era when oil gushed from the land and men risked their lives to claim its riches, loyally followed her husband's dream--even as her heart ached for a love that could never be.

MELISSA--
A twentieth- century woman fired with the brave pioneer spirit of those who came before her she valiantly fought treachery and greed to be with the man she was born to love--and to triumph as part of a magnificent Texas dynasty.

Liked this book. Good story set in early days of Texas oil exploration. References to many oilfields I was familiar with. Trip down memory lane!
