This was the first book I ever read regarding Ayurveda and it was really eye opening. I got to learn so much more about Ayurveda.

If you are new to ayurveda then there is a detailed introduction in the beginning. It was a little confusing at the start but later on I understood it clearly.

This book talks in details about the importance of right food and good sleep. After the pandemic, our immune systems are a bit weak and this book is very much needed.

This book is written in a conversational style and this book is for anyone looking to improve their immunity, both physically and mentally, through practical Ayurvedic advice.

Overall, this was an insightful book and I enjoyed my time reading it. I think this book will be very helpful to all. I'd definitely recommend this book.

"According to Ayurveda, not only WHAT we eat but also WHEN we eat and HOW MUCH we eat matter in our quest to attain perfect health."

I have been reading this book and already loved it enough to write down about I feel about it. The book is a detailed journey about our body how things change when we do not eat good food, or maybe due to lack of sleep or any other reason due to which the body losses its immunity. After the corona times, the struggle to keep one's body healthy is really a task and that's why I felt that this book is the need of the hour!

Written in the conversational style, the book draws its source from the traditional knowledge to boost the immune system. The food which one should eat, the time of sleep, maintaining good mental health, healthy lifestyle, and a lot of other things have been discussed in the book. Five stage health improvement programme is really something that interested me a lot. The book has a tone as if the author is talking to you, and noting down your problems. I also found out about the elements which are there in our bodies.

This book is definitely is a gem for all the people who love reading about health and body in general.

Ayurveda deals with whole body health and there is a delicate balance between mind, body, and spirit upon which health and wellness depend. If there is an imbalance somewhere in the system, the immune system is weakened which then causes some health problem. Two quizzes are provided for you to determine your core nature and what body type you are, i.e., vata, pitta or kapha also called doshas. The author, Vaidya, goes through lifestyle, food, the five pillars of Yoga, Meditation, and so much more. In order to really understand the meaning behind the system of Ayurveda, this book needs to be read several times which probably serves as a good meditating factor in itself. Namaste.
