The author is owner of Heronswood, one of the most famous nurseries in the USA.

Packed with color photos from exotic places.

I was particularly interested in his references to his early experiences in Northern Michigan.

This book is yet another treasure trove of ideas for gardeners looking for something beyond the ordinary.

Just did a quick skim, will do a much more in depth study this winter, when the garden is asleep. Looks inspirational.
