The fog over Chateau and Ryang-Ha’s childhoods finally lifts. During that fateful encounter, they were brought together by a boy named “Ryang-Ha Song”-the real one-but what awaits them now that the true nature of their connection has been brought to light?
What more do you want?! I'm dying out here, crying so hard!! Grieving!! They were only kids and to suffer like that! Man, so agonizing, I just want to dress black and mourn for their souls. That's just traumatizing. Imagine living that kind of pain and carrying it for the rest of your life. Boy, I mean, how do you go from there?
I feel so blue, especially with the real Ryang Ha's death. Man, that's harsh. But I can't stop laughing about the extra though! I mean, why you gotta do Real Ryang Ha like that?! So freaking hilarious! Especially if you knew what really happened that. But that's a nice breaker though. I really needed that after all the drama and the tears I shed.

This manga series is amazing as always. This volume was just so shocking and so emotional, and I loved that we got more background to Ryang-Ha-Song and how he was involved with Chaetu in the first place. And we also solve the mystery of why Ryang-Ha-Song calls himself that name even though that's not his real name. I'm just so excited for volume 8, if you haven't read this series, read them. They are so underrated and amazing!
Also, even though the English version is supposed to be officially released on April 26th, 2022, I found a copy at my local Barnes and Noble! So grateful for that right now😭.
We finally find out the full story/fate of the real Ryang-Ha, and although the reader probably already guessed that his story was tragic, watching it come to its conclusion was unsettling. Poor Chateau. This memory may be too much for her. It also may help explain why she has such a difficult time pushing away the new Ryang-Ha. This flashback volume really helped provide context and backstory.
How can I NOT give it five stars when this volume just wrecked me real good?!
Finally, now it all make sense. Everything is falling into the right place. We learnt the past connecting Song Ryang-Ha and Chateau.
I did not expect that even though the secret unravel is quite cliche but here’s the thing:
I love the execution so much, smooth and impactful.
This volume introduced us who’s the real Ryang-Ha, take a look on his life, his motive. Please, HE IS ONE THE PUREST SOUL IN THE WORLD (that we fail to protect)
How he found this unknown boy, how we able to pinpoint what kind of person Ryang-Ha through his interaction with people around him and also the action he took (being so considerate and caring) I just- 🥺🥺🥺
READ IT AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT EXACTLY THAT BREAKS ME
I still have some questions: (that I wish will be answered next)
-why do they want Chateau-san? -where ‘Ryang-Ha’ actually come from? -do Dankworth and Donny happened to be the same person or are they related in a way?
Overall, I LOVE THE PAIN THIS VOLUME GAVE ME THANK YOU
Generalized comments for 4 - 7 (and into 8) w/o spoilers. I was disliking how flat Chateau was coming off and the generalized damsel in distress aspect when she's supposed to be a trained body guard. I wasn't feeling the romance vibes, but was glad that the series was shaping up into a better story than the first volume initiated. Somewhere in these volumes, this became a 5 star series for enjoyability (but still with flaws). Chateau is still monotone, but she's consistently shown that way throughout backstory and the present. She's still more damsel in distress than bodyguard, but that's improving. The art gets noticeably better. I'm starting to see and feel a relationship growing between R & C, and the humor is integrated better. There are still gaping holes in the plot and storylines that seemingly dropped off, but things are coming together and I'm enjoying the overall story, twists, and action.
Damn! I know I asked for trauma ... but this!!! Damn I want to wrap them both up in a warm blanket! The world has been terrible cruel to these guys and even though they are find their ways to make it better for themselves... they are still affected by their shared events, even years later! I am so excited to see how they more forward now that they have both come clean about their past!!! Cause I think love could be in the air!!
This was the best volume by far. At the same time, it was also heartbreaking learning about the fate of the real "Ryang ha". Their first and past involvement with each other's lives made sense how they can't seem to just leave each other alone when either of them is in danger or in a precarious situation. I loved how we always get a scene where fake ryang ha (i hope he reveals his real name soon) comforts and looks after chateau, it is bittersweet 🥹💗
Is this really shoujo cuz there's a lot of death and mayhem in this manga? I love it. The storyline is really good. I love the main characters. And even when there are flashbacks I'm not wondering wth is going on. I can keep pace because the author isn't trying to outwit the reader which is common in manga like this...lol
Poor Chateau has gone through so much :( I like how Chateau and “Ryang-Ha” have known each other since they were young. Of course they haven’t been together for all of their lives, but I think it’s sweet how “both” Ryang-Ha’s protected Chateau, and now Ryang-Ha still protects her :,)

Was a bit bored with this one. Even though it is filled with information and answers from the very start of the series.... I just wasn't grabbed by this one.
“The fog of their past has been lifted” and boy what a shock their past ended up being… 😱 THIS IS A SHOUJO?! WHAT? 🤣 I cannot wait for the rest of this series; I’m so invested now 😶
Okay, why does he feel like he has a connection with her? I mean, I get it, but it makes more sense having a connection with the name rather than the girl….
