This is a very sexy story. But it is all about personal preferences for me. I'm no prude and I love a menage story, but I despise jealousy and infidelity. Basically that means that a menage story works for me when everybody is on board with it. And that wasn't really the case here. The author spent the majority of the story building a relationship between a witch, Sandra and master vampire, Navarre. And boy was it hot. I loved their romance so much! I was even okay with bringing Robert into it, but it gutted me that Navarre was so hurt by it. But bringing Nicholas into the story basically ruined it for me. Because then suddenly the relationship wasn't between Sandra and Navarre, but between Sandra and Nicholas. When the heroine claims to have had the "best sex of her life" with a guy who is not the one she's supposedly fallen in love with, I get really upset for the hero I've just been rooting for. And it pissed me off beyond belief that Nicholas is the one who turned her instead of Navarre - the man we, as readers, know the most, as we've gotten his POV and understand his emotions. This felt like betrayal. Like the heroine was unfaithful and happily enjoyed a relationship with another guy, but decided to keep seeing the first one. I can't help but think if a story is going to take this direction, one needs to either keep a very strong relationship between the original two or develop the relationship among the three equally and simultaneously. This story pretty much pissed me off when Nicholas took over the hero role and relegated Navarre to the background. Throw my kindle.

I am reading this now and it is a lot like reading parts of the Anita Blake series. I'm surprised no one else mentioned it. There's a strip club with a werecat on the stage, a vampire that's a master vampire that has a voice thing, and the main character has even been called in by the police to look at something crime related with some metsphysical elements to it. Mind you, this is only about 50% through with the story, I think.

I really liked the story, I just wish the last half, the part with all the awesome, mind boggling sex was expanded upon even more.

Good until the end
I come joked elf skipped the chapters where Sandra 1st went to Nicholas to see if she was pregnant.. I couldn't read the BS of him taking advantage of her, her begging for it, and then by end of the book he's one who changes he not Navarre who should be the primary lover but Nicholas took that spot. Some much for Sandra saying Navarre would hold deep part of her that the other guys wouldnt.

Enjoyable but there were parts that I couldn't enjoy for instance when Sandra lies to Navarre to go to Nicholas'. It didn't bother me enough that I stopped enjoying the story. It just lessened it for me.

It was a different take from any other reverse harem story that I’ve read so far. It pulled me in from the very beginning with plenty of steamy scenes that were deliciously decadent. It also gave you mystery that kept you intrigued and I wish it didn’t end.

I was given this copy free to review, but as always on the basis that my opinion is honestly held, and whether paid for or free my views are not influenced by that. Integrity is important to me and gushing false reviews do neither author or reader any favours. As always my views are what I honestly feel about this book.
Sandra Ashton is a witch living and working with her sister and grandmother in a small town. Out at a nightclub one evening she is attacked by a werewolf and rescued by an attractive vampire named Navarre. With her consent he drinks from her after, having intended the werewolf as his supper. He's attracted to her and she to him and they meet later unintentionally when she is out with her sister back at the club.
Someone is murdering local people and using a strange dark magic ritual. It looks as though vampires are involved and the new local police chief suspects Navarre, and Sandra gets drawn in as she is able to provide him with an alibi for the evening.
The story expands to include other yummy vampires and shape shifters as well as Sandras' witch family. There's a welcome cameo appearance of Lilith Mercury from the novels of the same name. Being a great fan of those it was good to “meet” up with Lilith and I've love to see this work expanded into a series to run alongside those. The characters in both would mesh well together I think and I feel this novel would work well as a series – I haven't checked and maybe Tracey has done this although I didn't notice a connection with other works when I was checking her lists. Back to this book, more murders arise and there is a small conflict when the local police chief who is attracted to Sandra discovers she is alibi again and then for a second vampire Nicholas who she becomes romantically involved with. His world will really crash when he finds out about Robert :) Sandra becomes closely involved in the murders and Navarre feels her and her family are potentially in danger and takes steps to protect them.
I enjoyed this book, its less in-depth that the Lilith Mercury novels (which I really Love :) ) and feels lighter, and it's an easy to follow book for those just looking to while away a few hours without too much involvement. Personally I like books to get my teeth into ( yep – I'm a sucker for the vamp puns too!) so although this was really well written and edited and had fully dimensional, paranormal characters, a decent plot, plenty of scorching hot, (xxx) well written sex scenes the actual story itself wasn't quite deep enough to rate a five star for me, but for those looking for a lighter read it may well be one. We all like different things and I'm rating with my personal preferences in mind.
Warning about the sex scenes; Tracey writes them very well, seductively and erotically without being icky and slimy or so embarrassingly coy (no laving of mounds or mentions of rigid poles or rods here thankfully ) as so often happens, but they are very explicit and involve multiple partners so if that offends you don't read this.
Its on ebook at 454 KB for £1.94

This was a nice long story at 35 chapters with all kinds of paranormal beings, witches, vampires, shifters and fae. This is an interesting world since the big revel that supernaturals are real and exist side by side with the ordinary folks.
This was for the most part a well written story with lots of world building and details on Sandra a witch and her sister and grandmother also witches. You get all the details about her so you understand who she is and what she is about. Navarre the master vampire is then introduced into the story. He and Sandra connect and the story goes on for a long while just about them with a little sex thrown in. A ritual murder takes place and now a bit of a mystery is added to this story…interesting.
Now comes the race to the finish and two other vampires are added to this story and unfortunately I don’t get the character development that I did with Sandra and Navarre. I don’t understand their importance or what they add to the story.
All this happen closer to the end of the book. The majority of the sex was one on one and yes it was erotic but there wasn’t much of it. This story could have been so much better had all the good stuff been spread out through out the story instead of just the end.

Sandra is a powerful witch born within a family of witches. Her first love died tragically when she was twenty years old and she has never fully gotten over it, even nine years later. That is, until she meets Navarre, a powerful master vampire who runs a large night club outside of her hometown. Soon after they meet, mysterious murders begin to happen that lead the police to believe either a witch, werewolf or vampire may be the culprit. Sandra and Navarre realize the danger but are unable to find the killer. That isn't their only dilemma. Just as the two are growing comfortable with each other strange dreams come to them both. In them Sandra sees two other men who she feels attraction but does not know who they are. As the mystery of her dreams is revealed, so too is the danger she faces from a killer who may target a witch next. Only it may be too late before the killers identity is revealed.
This story is far more compelling than I thought possible. The author manages to weave the tale in a way that is easy for the reader to accept. I will not reveal exact details because it would spoil it for those who haven't read it yet, but be prepared for a less than traditional love story. It will pull at your emotions in a number of ways, but leave you smiling at the end.
There are a few grammar mistakes and occasionally I thought the language got more abrasive than necessary but the plot, pacing, action and romance were so great that it hardly mattered. Well worth the read.

I'm a fan of paranormal stories with a lot of action and suspense and at least a little romance. This one is heavier on the romance and has the steamy style like Lora Leigh. If you like her books, you'll probably like this one.
The story is set in the modern world but with vamps, werewolves, other shifters and witches living among the humans. The main character Sandra, a widow, is a witch living with her sister and grandmother. They run a small shop and Sandra is known for her highly effective love potions. Sandra visits a preternatural dance club as part of a bachlorette party. While there she is almost attacked by a werewolf and is saved by master vampire Navarre, the club owner. Then a series of murders happens and the police are investigating. Sandra and her family are potential targets and Navarre protects them. Sandra ends up in a menage--just a heads up in case that isn't your thing.
I almost didn't buy this book due to its cheesy cover, but in this case the book is better than the cover.

I admit I was expecting more sex, I mean look at the cover, who could blame me right? I was of course pleasantly surprised. Not that I would have been unhappy with more sex, but Bitten had so much more than just steamy love scenes going for it. While there were a few wonderfully hot scenes, it wasn't just sex, sex, sex. Bitten was a well written story with enough world building that I could visualize their world without being overwhelmed by details/information about this world. The characters were also well done, Sandra was a pretty well fleshed character and we got to know her in detail, Navarre we also got to know pretty well. I think we got a decent glimpse of Nicholas and Robert but they could've been more thoroughly explored, I would've liked if they had been introduced earlier in the story so we could've gotten a chance to get to know them better. There could've been more mystery and suspense to the story, but this was more character driven (particularly Sandra). It was an enjoyable journey to watch her grow both individually and within her relationship(s).

Supernaturals have come out of the closet, although humans don't like employing them in any capacity. So they generally run their own businesses, and vampires are good at running nightclubs.
Our heroine Sandra meets Navarre while at his nightclub on a hen's night for her friend. Soon after, the 1st murder happens, with suspicious marks that look like a vamp bite. Events progress, several more people die, blood & hearts are taken and they work out that someone is trying to complete a spell to resurrect a demon. Meanwhile Sandra has met Nicholas and Robert also.
The killer has targeted Sandra, and her 3 vampires whilst determined to protect her find this difficult when she has a TSTL moment and goes to check her mail. Duh? Didn't she ever see a horror movie?
The only way to save Sandra is to make her a vamp. The End.

This book caught my eye when I saw the two words, "Joint Custody" when I first discovered this book. I was interested in the book and I bought it with in seconds of finishing the blurb because I wanted to find out how she got three vampires. So when you first meet Sandra's Lover number 1, I was like "Yum! Smexy!" But as the book went on I could help but think, 'where are the other too hotties?' thankfully I didn't have to wait too long because hottie number 2 popped up and then hottie number 3 showed up with all his sexiness! This book isn't just about sex or threesomes, it's about how one girl discovers her true self while murders are happening in her home town. I want to marry all three of those hottie vampires but I would have liked to of known hottie number 2 a little better.
I do hope there will be another book that comes out! Perhaps how Pris and her hottie gets on? *hint hint* hehehe!

I really enjoyed this one. The heroine is a widowed witch who is lonely. She meets a vampire and falls in love, then meets another vampire and falls in love, finally she meets another vampire and falls in love. Her lovers decide they all want to have a relationship with her and are OK with the others in her life. It reminded me a little of Anita Blake, but this was better. Sandra owned up to what she wanted and didn't act like the boss all of the time. I don't know if there is a second book but I am going to find out.

I received this book as a set along with her book Necromancer. These books were just a little too like Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series, but with less violence. Some of the characters reminded me a LOT of the characters in that series and the terminology was almost exactly the same. I also noticed that there was a sex scene in each book that was almost entirely word for word. I may not have noticed this if I had not read them back to back,but as a reader I like my authors to be a little more imaginative and original. (less)

Excellent build-up to a satisfying conclusion. Each character has dimension that adds to the storyline bringing in multifaceted backgrounds that blends the shared relationships with her to be thoroughly satisfying with plenty of humor,drama,surprising elements and SIZZLING HOT PANTY DROPPING MOMENTS. I'M RECOMMENDING THAT YOU CHECK OUT ALL TRACEY KITTS BOOKS AND SERIES( LOOK FOR HER BOX SETS OF HER BOOKS AND SAVE)

Simply put, I am addicted to this book. I own multiple copies of this novel in eBook form and paperback. It is like a really good film that never gets old. The witty banter, super steamy love scenes and action packed fight scenes make it one heck of a read. If you enjoy vampires, sass and reverse harem stories this may be the book for you, as well.

I am really enjoying this author. I have read almost a dozen of her books, her style reminds me a lot of Laurell K. Hamilton and the Anita Blake series (which I LOVED). It makes it difficult to go back to reading my "non-steamy" paranormal books :)
