Quirky little story about a boy so obsessed with football he creates a fantasy footballer to try and save his club from relegation from the English Premiership. Naturally this leads to all sorts of shennanigans!
I think this book is aimed at 11 year old boys and since I am neither it is no surprise that it is not my favourite book of all time!
However, it was fun and well read (audio version) and I have recommended to a couple of youngsters I know would love it.
