Lessons To Learn: Lessons Series Book 1
Grayson fell in love with Adeline when they were just children. But as they grew older, he vowed to protect her from the mistakes he knew he’d make into adulthood. They tried to wait until they were perfect for each other, but life taught them that love is supposed to be imperfect. If only life had taught them the lesson without trying to destroy them in the process.
She's my best friend's little sister, but over the years of tagging along with us, she has become so much more than that to me. The way I feel about her is so intense and overbearing, I'm nearly obsessed. I can't begin to describe how much fear courses through my veins when I'm near her, trying to keep from acting on my desires or doing anything wrong to jeopardize a real chance at a future together. I’m captivated and head over heels for him, but he still won’t make a move. Until one night, encased in darkness, he says all the things I’ve longed to hear from his lips. But he adds rules and conditions, I’m not sure I want to abide by.
This is a second chance romance, it's not a straight line from the starting point to the finish line. There are bumps and twists and heartache. But there is so much reward in the end.

Review covers both books in the duet.
This book grabbed my attention right off the bat. Normally it’s hard for me to be invested in a couple without background or build up, but the way this author wrote their introduction, it gave me the feels and made me want to dive in.
Initially I knew it wouldn’t be as simple as boy meets girl. I thought it would be your typical love triangle trope, but boy was I wrong.
Book one introduces all the characters and gives you a glimpse into the MM and MF character development and the maturity that they grow into. Many times I found myself wanting to just cover Adeline’s mouth and whisper in her ear that brutal honesty is not always necessary and that you can deliver the truth in a more….. diplomatic way. lol - but that was her. She was an open book. Raw and vulnerable. Now Gray, he needed a come to Jesus meeting. Yeah he was obsessed with Ad but in the beginning he liked himself a lot more.
Book 2 took a whole different turn that I was not expecting. This direction allowed for more character development. Now some could say that she was selfish but I didn’t pick that up at all. I felt like Gray put her in an impossible situation and her family “burnt out” on her quicker than they should have. Overall she was strong, she just needed a safe place to fall without her family thinking she was weak.
Loved Jeremy!!! Would love for him to get his own story!

Takes me back in time
This was a great story and reminded me of my college days so long ago. Chock full of hot sex, drama, and teen angst, I look forward to seeing how it ends with A & G. Easy read and nice write.
