I read this to my son over 12 months during bottles and mealtimes. My favourite story was Alice in Wonderland; it’s was kooky and crazy. Oliver Twist was a good story but probably not appropriate for little ones. Wind in the Willows was well written and mostly calming, my I found the sentences very long and I was having to catch my breath a lot.
