The book that I read this quarter is called “The Amanda Project Revealed.” The authors of this book are Amanda Valentino and Peter Silsbee. I really like this book; it’s the type of book that you just don’t want to stop reading you just want to keep on going. This book is the same as The Amanda Project which is the first one but except this one it’s from a different person’s point of view. It’s In Hal’s point of view. Hal is Callie’s friend and Callie is the person that told her story in the first book from her point of view.
This book was mainly about hall trying to find out what had happened with Amanda and how the story went from his point of view. Some of the clues were given out to where Amanda could have been but they didn’t find Amanda at the end. A box was given to Hal because that was one of clues that he was receiving from this one person that was leading him to where Amanda Could be.
I really did like this book and I am on planning on reading the 3rd book because I want to know where Amanda is at or who has her. I Do think recommend this book to my classmate if they like to read mystery kind of books because I really enjoyed it, And if I enjoyed it, and I don’t like to read then a I think that other people would like to read this book to.

Desde ninguna parte continúa manteniendo esa intriga y misterio que sentimos en el primer libro. Puede que esperara desvelar muchas de las incógnitas que se nos presentaban en el primer libro, y aunque lo he hecho en ocasiones, no esperaba que causara que otras más aparecieran. Así que esto me ha decepcionado un poco, porque siguen sin aclararse muchas cosas. Pero hay que tener paciencia, pues quedan muchos libros por delante todavía. Amanda cada vez me intriga más, y es un personaje que aunque no aparece físicamente en escena, me encanta, pues es de lo más desconcertante y estoy deseando saber cuál es la finalidad de todo este lío que ha montado.

Después de la agradable sorpresa que resultó ser Invisible –creo que fui la primera en reseñarlo– y con ese final tan abierto, tan lleno de posibilidades, no podía evitar querer seguir sabiendo más de Amanda y me he visto decepcionada y satisfecha al leer Desde ninguna parte. Sí, se nos aclaran algunas cosas, pero se añaden muchas más incógnitas, muchos más detalles que no sabemos a dónde nos van a llevar, pero, claro, teniendo en cuenta que serán ocho libros, es normal que los datos se nos den con cuentagotas.
En Desde ninguna parte, Hal nos guía en los días siguientes al ataque al subdirector Thornhill, del que parecen ser sospechosos tanto él como Callie y Nia. Poco a poco, pequeños detalles se van desvelando, recuerdos de Hal, mensajes de Amanda. Todo parece formar parte de un gran entramado mucho más complejo de lo que parece y del que Amanda sólo es una pieza. Las relaciones entre los tres chicos también están cambiando, Hal parece tener cierto interés en Callie. Sin embargo, pronto le advertirán de que corren grave peligro si están juntos y que quizás cada uno de ellos tenga que seguir por su cuenta, aunque eso implique olvidar el tema de Amanda.
Conoceremos algo sobre el pasado de Amanda y también que puede que la gente de su entorno sepa mucho más de lo que parece ser. También puede que ellos tres no fueran los únicos amigos de Amanda y también puede que haya otra gente buscándola. A través de Hal conocemos algunos detalles más de esta intrigante historia, que son pocos y que sólo incitan a querer leer más y que puede resultar un poco decepcionante si buscas que las cosas se empiecen a encauzar. Desde ninguna parte se revela como un paso más en el camino, un camino que es cada vez más complicado.
En esta ocasión tenemos oportunidad de conocer mas a Hal, su familia, sus inquietudes..., y también podemos ver los cambios que sufren tanto Nia, que ya no va de paria incomprendida y ha decidido "soltarse la melena" y Callie, que ha dejado de lado su fase de chica I repelente y odiosa para ser ella de nuevo e ir conquistando sin quererlo al chico del grupo. Es complicado en casos como estos, en los que los libros están escritos por distintos autores, ver un signo claro de identidad en los personajes, puesto que estos son interpretados por el autor. Si bien en Invisible, Callie resultaba un poco odiosa, Hal un poco pardillo y Nia una chalada, Desde ninguna parte nos muestra otra cara de ellos, más adulta y consciente.
La novela cuenta con un ritmo ágil y se lee con mucha facilidad, además, es menos densa. Se echan en falta las "chorraditas" que encontrábamos en el primer libro, pero aún así, tiene detallitos de lo más curiosos. El estilo de Silsbee no destaca especialmente, pero es resultón y se adapta a la personalidad de Hal, más preocupado por encontrar a su amiga que por los problemas típicos de adolescentes ultrahormonados.
Una digna segunda parte que nos descubre algunos secretos para lanzarnos miles de preguntas más. A la espera de la historia de Nia, que promete ser de lo más interesante y que, además, llevará la firma de la gran Laurie Faria Stolarz. No sé si podré esperar tanto tiempo porque la incógnita de Amanda es enorme, además, es el libro ideal para los amantes de los misterios.

I read the first of The Amanda Project series and fell in love. The story of the first mixed the right amount of mystery and sleuthing. It was an overall joy to read the first book, but I have mixed emotions about the sequel.

My first issue is there are way to many plot holes. So many different questions are brought up that it feels like majority of them may never end up being solved.

Alongside that, little to no questions are being answered in this book. I had so many questions from the first and am left with only more questions. It isn't in the appetizing way where I need to read more to solve it, but in a way where I don't even want to read more because I'm left confused and disinterested.

Additionally, the characters are quite flat and static that I get easily bored and tired of them.

Though, my love for the first of the series left me with not a complete distaste of the story.

I am not sure if I will be continuing this series.

Not having read book one, and never hearing of TheAmandaProject.com before, I began reading the book like I would any other. Note to future readers - read book one first!

A story of a few teenage friends, not the most popular in school, looking for their missing friend, Amanda. In an effort to try to locate their friend, they create a website, www.theamandaproject.com, hoping people will post clues or sitings on Amanda.

In addition to the strange disappearance of Amanda, other strange things begin to happen. The vice-principal of their school is attacked and ends up in the hospital. A local shopkeeper suddenly has all of Amanda’s belonging, including a mysterious box, with no explanation as to how she got it.

The more they try to do to find Amanda, the more mysterious and confusing things get.

Who is Amanda, really? Will they find her? Read the series and find out.

Por alguna razón me gusta mucho la historia de estos libros. El primero se me hizo bastante denso, pero tenía muchas ganas de saber cómo continuaba, así que leí este; y por suerte resultó ser mucho más bueno.
Estoy esperando conseguir el que sigue desde que terminé este, pero son muchos libros y los últimos todavía no salieron así que no me apuro.

Esta segunda parte está contada por Hall, dónde aún siguen descubriendo las pista que deja nuestra querida desaparecida Amanda, ahora todo se vuelve más turbio al aparecer pistas que dejan en evidencias que se enfrentan ha algo mucho más grueso de lo que imaginaban, hay muchos más secretos que aún no se revelan y los que ya se revelaron muestran la magnitud del asunto y dejan con los nervios de punta.

Me sorprende el gran equipo que formar Hall, Nia y Callie, se han vuelto más unido y la amistad se fortalece, sobre la trama, es increíble todo lo que hacen nuestros amigos para que descubrir en ¿Dónde está Amanda? Y sin duda crea un ambiente de misterio e intriga, dónde lo que creías se convierte en una vil mentira.

Sin duda continuaré con esta saga, aunque aún no haya fecha para la publicación del último (creo) libro y esto me dejaría en el aire con el final de la saga, ojalá se llegué a un acuerdo y lo publiquen. (¡¡¡¡Por favor!!!!)

I read it and full of hope I also checked out books three and four of the five that exist. I was disappointed. I read it because the three friends each had a turn as POV in their own books but I don't know who narrates books 4 and 5. The author's turn as the male character, Hal, was not done well. Throughout the book, it felt like not only did I, as the reader, not know what was going on, but neither did the writer. I think that is because of the social media aspect of this series. The ideas, the twists seem to all be coming from reader/participant suggestions. I started book three and gave up.

It took me a minute to remember the first book as its been a minute since I have read it but I quickly had it all coming back to me and I was sucked back into the story. I am so frustrated that I won't be able to immediately get the third one.
Definitely a mystery that leaves me with more questions than answers at this point.

Es un libro juvenil bastante entretenido, no es común, al menos para mí, encontrar libros juveniles de misterio tan bien narrados. La historia te atrapa y ya no puedes soltar el libro.

No me ha terminado de gustar. Esta interesante, pero la historia avanza muy poco a poco. En este libro la historia está contada bajo la visión de Hal, uno de los tres chicos que están metidos en el ajo buscando a Amanda y es que el tío es tan torpe que a veces me entraba mala leche. Espero que en el tercero se vayan aclarando más cosas que en este.

Al igual que en el primero, se intercala la investigación de los chicos, con el desarrollo de sus relaciones (Callie y Hal, y su amistad especial) y flashbacks de nuestro narrador - protagonista con Amanda, los cuales son más directos, precisos y sólidos en contenido,con diálogos enfocados hacia la persona de Hal a modo filosófico de enseñanza.Además,se intuye cierta atracción sexual ente Amanda y Hal; una relación muy diferente a que tiene con la ausente amiga tiene con Callie, por lo tanto un toma y daca más maduro y satisfactorio de leer.

I received this book through a Library Thing member giveaway and, with little background information on the series, I was not quite sure what to expect. I had never before heard of The Amanda Project, although I recognized the covers from the bookstore, and found myself wholly engrossed in the story. Coming into a story a bit late, like I did here in book two, can sometimes leave the reader feeling lost, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was not. Instead, I felt like I understood what had happened in the first book without extensive recapping by the author.

I have long since been a fan of young adult mysteries, and I felt that this book adequately captures the teenagers' emotions when faced with a serious situation--here that their friend is missing. The writer also does a good job at relaying the usual trials and tribulations of being in high school, which could easily have been under-written when the focus of Revealed is to further dive into the mystery of Amanda. I truly enjoyed this book and found it to be suspenseful with smart, yet unpredictable twists and turns. I may have not known what The Amanda Project was when I started this book, but I certainly will be following the rest of the series.

In Book #1 we read Callie's story of events and now in Book #2 as the threesome of Callie , Hal and Nia get closer in their search for Amanda, we readers have Hal's story starting with how Hal came to meet Amanda , their friendship spanning their morning exercises and we even catch glimpses of Hal and Callie's friendship from when they were younger. This time the trail of Amanda leads them to her favourite Vintage clothing store where they find a wooden box filled with bits and bobs from newspaper clippings, death certificates, old movie tickets and secrets are revealed from why the three of them are in danger especially when all together, why others involved keep disappearing to clues that Bea Rossiter ( the girl that was hit by Heidi) and Amanda were good friends and that Heidi's mother Brittany was good friends with Callie's mum - who is still missing?
In Revealed , the readers will be able to catch a deeper glimpse into Amanda's life and parts of her "real" identity and life are "Revealed".
If you love the series Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game , then you will definitely love and enjoy "The Amanda Project Series".

Though this is supposed to be a sequel to the amanda project, it just kind of led me nowhere! A feeling like floating in the mystery, I just didn't feel any sense of satisfaction in having read finish the book. Am moving on the next book, Shattered, maybe that may have some answers on who this Amanada babe really is. Btw I don't really get their concept of running a website to look for amanada, and why the so called bad guys who are trying to shush this whole matter, can't track down theamandaproject.com and get to the Hal, Callie and Nia. Having the three books in three different narrative viewpoints also kind of unsettles me. Though I can't stop reading since I have read thus so far!

This book spooked me out soo bad, but of course if you did not read the first book, it probably isn't worthwhile. I was up at 4 in the morning finishing it because I had to know what happened, and of course the biggest disappointment was, well, nothing happened. There was no end, and it was left so wide open for book #3. I LOVE the character of Amanda, I found the way she thought about things (the way everything she did fit together) made her a brilliant young girl. I hope the next book (there had better be a next book!) Is in Nia's perspective, as we already got to hear Callie's and Hal's.

5 star rating from me, it was so intriguing I could not set it down nor stop thinking about it.. It will keep me stumped until book 3, that is for sure (:

Cette série est carrément sympa ! Chaque tome se lis vite et on ne s'ennuie pas une seconde ! Je n'accroche pas trop aux enquêtes habituellement mais là, les différents auteurs parviennent à créer tout un univers super intrigant et vraiment bien ! Plein d'indices insensés au premier abord se relient petit à petit et tout est ficelé hyper intelligemment.
Les personnages sont attachants et uniques. En fait, le principe de réunir trois protagonistes totalement différents les uns des autres au niveau de la personnalité pour qu'ils cherchent une même chose est super cool !

It took me awhile to read this, I won the ebook version from Library Thibg. the story follows several High School students who are looking for their friend Amanda who has gone missing. there are a lot of plot twists to this book and I was enjoying this story very much. my chief complaint was that there were graphic issues with this ebook and some pages were missing. It also seemed like the book did not end right, like missing several pages. other than that, I was liking the book and wished I had a hard copy of it.

The Amanda Project continues. I have read a bit online and am intrigued by the turn the story is taking and still wondering why is Amanda gone? Who is she? This iteration has more references to the online community...
Hal is central so far, called in for questioning because the vice principal is found wounded in his office. Hal is able to sneak into the office and finds (surprise!) more questions than answers. Amanda's clothes appear in a thrift shop. A new clue surfaces...

Toujours aussi longuet, malgré des pistes intéressantes, l'enquête piétine ! Moins de digressions à noter, grâce au changement de narrateur, en la personne de Hal, et ce n'est pas plus mal. Cette série me laisse une impression d'approximation, les idées sont bonnes mais il manque le déclic. De plus le rythme de parution est bien trop nonchalant pour fidéliser le lectorat, en somme le projet s'est révélé trop ambitieux et s'est soldé par un flop ! Dommage.

Hal, Callie, and Nia are now inseperable thanks to the mysterious Amanda. Having found clues to Amanda's disapperance the three work together to find out what happeneed to their friend. Not having read the first novel, I was a little confused before I realized that this was the second in a series of four. That said it was still an enjoyable young adult adventure novel. Well written and fun, so now I will have to read 1, 3, & 4 of the series. Was not a bad way to spend an afternoon in the sun

Me leí el libro hace unos meses y, a pesar de lo rápido que me lo leí, no me pareció tampoco demasiado bueno; en sí me parece una pérdida de tiempo que los protagonistas busquen a la muchacha cuando parece que no les importó demasiado como amigos.
En sí, me parece que esto se parece bastante a Ciudades de papel salvo que lo alarga a más de un libro. No he leído el final aún pero más o menos me lo imagino.

I didn't even finish this book. I'm giving it three stars because I think this is a good series for young teens. It is clean. I liked the first book. The premise to the story is three people find out they each had the same friend who is now missing. My problem with the book is it took the whole story to give you one clue to the missing girl.
