I don't know if I like the first volume or this one better. This installation gives off a different vibe from the previous, althought rhey both share the "complicated relationship" characteristic. Tenshi has a much darker, much more sexual feels to it, and definitely has much less tender moments than Kyodai. It's actually a story about accepting the death of a loved one and the fact that despite everything, your heart still seeks hapiness and that you deserve it. Quite a nice message, with very unique characters and interesting development. But I do see how some people might not like this book because of the twisted, not straightforward way in which the characters start and develop their relationship. I enjoyed it though, when you can't give a name to a relationship and you can't predict how it will go.
Definitely a compelling story but no doubt an "acquired taste". If you're looking for something sweet, this just isn't for you (although the extra story that you get if you buy it at a bookstore is quite romantic). But if you're looking for something thrilling, and bitter like a 90% cacao choc bar then give this a try.
