Reaper is the fourth and final book in the Redwood Rebels series. Zed and Vi”s story, and I absolutely love and devoured the book in one sitting.

Let’s talk about what a hell of a ride this book is. This is Vi and Zed's imperfect but perfect together story.

Vi and Zed have had a secret affair until they didn't, and after two years apart, they still have the same feelings for each other. But of course, they don't tell each other. The chemistry between the two is undeniable from the beginning. Zed is dealing with guilt from the past events, Vi on the run and dealing with her demons.

Zed is broody, dark, sarcastic, and keeps his circle small, and even then, he keeps them at arm's length. Vi is the one who truly sees him. Zed has been the only one who knows events that happened with Vi and, no matter what, is there to help her. Vi is strong, witty, intelligent, and plays by her rules.

Reaper is a page-turner with so much angst, along with many twists. Going in, you either love or hate Zed. For me, he turned himself around, and I love him. His back story is absolutely heartbreaking. All secrets are revealed, and my advice brace yourself. A must-read series

Their Banters are hilarious, the Sexual attraction high leading to super hot sexy scenes from the start, their love so deep, heartaching & Powerful.

Zed; Twisted, Mysterious, Complex; is the most complicated & Tortured character of the series. He'd suffered Childhood Trauma (Emotional & Sexual). He gave me whiplash with his Arrogance, Darkness yet Random acts of good. I started out by Hating him, but Rachel paved a path for his redemption & now I love him! I'd thought after getting his "revenge" in Vandal, He'll finally get some peace, but He'd only sunken into Depression, All Alone, almost committing Suicide...But Vi saved him.

Zed struggles with his emotions & guilt, Being vulnerable is hard for him. But as the story goes, he slowly opens up to Vi & his friends, & that's beautiful, emotional & freeing. Closure from their pain helped them all move forward & mend broken Relations.

The Final was so Heart-racing, gripping & a tad scary. Some secrets are worth keeping. It all showed how Zed & Vi can't live without eachother, led'em to Love Confessions *Swoon*. The latter scenes are all so sexy, sweet & fun, giving the Redwood Rebels the HEA they deserve! Zed & Vi with his friends, The acceptance warmed my heart & the epilogue's the BEST!!
I love this series so damn much, I'm sad it's over... These guys will always be in my heart! This is Rachel's Masterpiece❤.

It was awesome seeing Talon+Marni, Lars+Willa, Tommy+Wyatt here! So in love, their relationships are going great. After Vandal, Zed & Tommy's friendship has grown, it's sweet! Zed's reaction here to Tommy being gay...was so him; I like it, he's so observant! We also get to see the birth & a birthday party of Lars & Willa's baby *Yay!!*. Loved it!

Revenge and four friends... It doesn't always go as planned.
Talon, Tommy, Lars and Zed. All equally ruthless and hot in their own way. You don't want to get on their bad side. They don't hold back and you could be collateral in a deadly game. It isn't finished until the last deed is done. Who's side are you on...

I just knew that Zed would be one of my favorite Rebels and I was not disappointed. He is on that pedestal with his bud, Talon.

Finally!!!! His side of the story. I devoured this book. He is the truest bad boy of them all, in my opinion. He is broody, his is broken, a true deviant... but also he is caring and wants what's best for his friends. Will stop at nothing to bring justice and avenge the ones who he feels wronged him. He will move the stars for you. Would walk through fire to save you. Would get his hands dirty so you wouldn't have that blemish 0n your soul. Living a life where you don't believe you are worthy of love, of that happily ever after... all of it just seems too far from your reach and gives you not much to live for. His revenge is what motivates him.

He for sure met his match with the lovely Vi. She is strong and plays by her own rules. They bring out the worst and best in each other. She makes him feel - everything. Is he so far into the darkness that she can't pull him back? Is she willing to be that for him? Does he want her to be?
They both had walls built around their hearts and didn't let just anyone in.

OMG!!! I'm sad to see this series come to a end. I have loved everything with The Rebels. All the guys and the girls (and guy) that brought light and love into their hearts.
Does it really have to end??!!

I beta read this book and this review is my own honest opinion.

Reaper is the last book in the Redwood Rebels Series, it’s the conclusion I have been eagerly waiting for, like forever!

Rachel certainly didn’t disappoint. Zed and Vi’s story is simply amazing. Zed is such a complex and misunderstood character. He is a loner through and through and has so many facets to his personality.

Vi is a strong girl with a tragic past. She is also a loner and struggles with social situations so she and Zed have lots on common, far more when you start reading this book.

Reaper is full of secrets, revenge, heartache, friendships, love and retribution, the sex scenes are pretty hot too. And we finally get to know the biggest secret of all which has been the cliffhanger of each book.

If you haven’t read this series then I definitely recommend it, start with book one, Striker.

Wow!
Zed's story is one that is worth waiting for. Throughout the Redwood Rebels series, we see him in the background. The one that's called when the guys need help yet he is the one that everyone is afraid of. We learn however, that deep down, that isn't who he wants to be. 
He hates everything about the life he is living. The secrets he keeps are breaking him apart. The biggest secret - Vi. Thinking that her being associated with him will darken everything light about her. 
Vi - she keeps just as dark of a secret. One that she too is running from. But what does she want most of all? Zed. They are two sides of the same coin but also two people who push away at the pull they share. 
The fight doesn't last long though. Circumstances bring them out from the deep depths they've hidden their feelings in and show them that even though they thought they wouldn't work, their love is what works most of all. 
Zed will surprise everyone. He comes off as the one who doesn't care about what anyone thinks, will do anything without remorse and will hide a body without question. Yet deep down, he is the most broken and the one that needs to be loved the most. 
The story is the perfect conclusion to the lives of the Redwood Rebels. Do not miss it.

Plot Summary :
Zed never had an easy life. Having a traumatic childhood only contributed to the fact of him being an asshole in his later life. The only thing that kept him going was his revenge. He had to destroy the man who hurt him and for that he would do anything. Even cross lines that would make him a criminal. In the end everything would be worth it.

Now he was all alone with the one woman who was everything to him once. Vi is a complex girl. His friends suspect her of so much more and want him to turn her in so what can't he seem to give her up? Maybe for once, he is going to take something for himself in this lifetime. He sure had nothing to lose.

Overall Opinion :
I think I have been waiting for Zed's story right from the start of this series! He had one hell of a road to redemption and I knew I would love every second of it. He was the most complicated character of this series and I wanted to know why he did the things he did. Being in his brain was an amazing experience for me.

I never thought he'd get his happy ever after but this author managed to give us that and so much more. This was the ending of an amazing series and I am so sad to see these characters go. Maybe we'll see them more in the future. Zed and Vi were perfect and I loved them together. The ending was everything I wanted and so much more.

Would definitely recommend this whole series to all the dark romance loving addicts out there.

This is by far the best book R.Leigh has written.

Zed, the broody a**hole that everyone loves to despise is at his lowest... until his worst beautiful nightmare appears and attempts to save him. Unlike him, she won’t give up and she knows exactly how to get on his nerves. NERVES, which she’s got!

“You want me to live in this hell? Well, prepare yourself, Little Lamb, because nothing is more terrifying than a man who has no will to live.”

They are times I just wanted to grab Zed and hug him and other times, I just wanted to smack some sense into him. Vi was everything I didn’t expect. Her maturity and understanding of Zed’s frame of mind surprised me. I won’t lie, it made their chemistry even better.

“They might call me a reaper, but I call myself a f*cking warrior.”

R.Leigh killed it and it was the perfect way to end the series.

4.5 Stars. Reaper is not a stand-alone. You have to read books 1-3 before starting this book.

Reaper is Zed’s story and I have been eagerly waiting for his story since I first met his character in Striker. Throughout the previous books in the series, he’s always been in the background, got some bits and pieces of him, but never knew his true character until now.

This series has been such a blast. It’s dark, bold, full of suspense, and it drew me in from the very beginning with the baddest of the bad boys.

Zed and Vi’s POV is the conclusion to the Redwood Rebels. I truly believe that Rachel Leigh saved the best for last. I knew I was going to love Zed. He was my most anticipated Rebel, but he really surprised me. He blew my expectations away. I am truly a sucker for a broken bad boy. Zed and Vi were so damaged and it took some time for them to find their way back to each other. However, their love had such a strong foundation. Once they reconnected, they were on fire for one another and their chemistry was so hot! 🥵🥵

“From start to finish.. And everything in between.” So many shocks, surprises, twists and truths. The Final book in the Redwood Rebel Series. Zed’s story is EVERYTHING!! Rachel wrapped this series up so wonderfully. I’m sad that this series is over, but these boys will forever be in my heart.

I've got this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Finally I got to see the "inside" of Zed! Honestly I couldn't wait to see what he's dealing with, how he thinks and what he does.

This final book or Redwood Rebels ends with us getting all the answers to who killed Josh and why. Tho I can remember that we didn't get one answer and I wonder how it's gonna be from now on. If Rachel (the author) will make a spin-off series with that secret or just let's us wonder who did it.

I loved Vi honestly. She is smart, tough, strong and loves to the core! She and Zed were truly meant for each other.

So we got to see a lot more into Zed's life, from when he was younger and his mom died to why he hates people. I loved seeing him getting his revenge! He had it all thought out and it just flowed.

Some parts of Vi's life were unexpected, other were truly nice to watch. The talk with her mom was dreadful but much needed!

The ending of the book was beautiful! From Willa's giving birth to the final girl party! I'm kind of hoping for a spin-off to happen!

“From Start to Finish and Everything in Between” this is what it takes to be a Redwood Rebel.

This is the fourth and final book to Rachel Leigh’s crazy good Redwood Rebel series. This is Zed’s story, the crazy Rebel, with seriously questionable morals, or so we are lead to believe. But honestly he is probably the most vulnerable of them all.

Rachel has yet again given us so much with this story, she took an angry boy and showed how much he could change when he is loved. And man is he loved 😉, this is a steamy story that will make you blush for sure.

The Redwood Rebels are my gang of misfits, I love them all and care about what happens to them, and that is yet another reason why the minute I hear Rachel Leigh has a new book I immediately 1-click it, because I know I will not be disappointed!

This series need to be read in order, so make sure you don’t miss out on a single minute of this world!

Zed, my man Zed. I've been waiting for this book since the beginning. I was very skeptical about Zed. I’ve been going back and forth on my feelings about him from the start of the series, but this one really helped me really understand him. When I tell you I devoured this book in one sitting, I wouldn't be exaggerating. This book was truly worth the wait. It got me very emotional and had me all up in my feelings. Zed and Vi are probably one of my favorite couples in this series. They are a perfect match for one another and, in my opinion, the most deserving to be with each other. Zed and Vi are both strong characters and have been through some pretty tough and tragic things in their past, but somehow, they prevail. I’m pretty sad that this series is over, but I thought it ended on such a great high note!

I absolutely adored this series and am sad to say goodbye, but this was the perfect way to finish.
This couple was perfect for each other, and were the ones hiding the biggest secrets. This was a battle hard fought, but was it won?
Can't really say too much since it's the final book of a series with an ongoing plot, but everything was wrapped up in not so pretty little bows, some not the way you were expecting.
Hope the author stays on the dark side for whatever she decides to work on next, as this series is a must read.

Once perceived as the worst of the worst becomes the missing piece that brings it all completely together in the final act of revenge.

This book was bittersweet and knowing this was the end of the Redwood Rebels, I took my time reading this book. I wanted to take in every little thing this last time around with these crazy, suspenseful, and wild characters. So as most know this is not a stand alone it's part of a continuation of the series and this is the final book.

This book was Zed's redemption and it gives you the insight of his madness and torment he lives on a daily basis. Zed has been portrayed as the villain of this series from the start. Yes he has done quite a few disturbing things and made you wonder what his actions really mean. This character was complex and struggled with guilt and depression from his past. I can say "yes I was one of those people who really didn't want to like Zed at all, but I knew there was going to be way more to his character than the jerk persona he carried." I feel like we definitely get a better understanding of his character and why he did the things he did. I feel he was truly redeemed by the end of this book.

Vi's character was perfect for Zed. She was basically his opposite in many ways, but also has a few similarities for them to connect to one another. She was one of those characters from the beginning you don't really know or wonder exactly what her M.O. is throughout this series. I loved her fierceness of Zed, and how no matter what he did or said she was always willing to be there for him just like he was with everyone in his circle. They share a past with tons of secrets and because of it they have been hidden from the rest of his circle. Vi has lived with so many issues but chooses to move forward and doing so helps Zed heal some of his traumatic wounds he still holds. This character was a great addition to this series and just brought everything together nicely.

I will say if you are looking for a series that is suspenseful and has twists and turns that has you guessing what will happen next, then grab this one and enjoy this wild ride. I was given an ARC for my honest opinion/review of this book with nothing to gain from it. I just absolutely love this series and I am truly sad it ended but this ending with Zed's character brought everything full circle and gave you the perfect ending that these characters needed. I can't wait to see what new world Rachel comes up with next. She is one of those authors who can pull you into the story with only a couple of pages. This is a definite one click author for me.

This 4 book series has been such a blast! It’s dark, gritty, suspenseful, and enticed me with the baddest of bad boys!

Zed & Vi’s POV is the conclusion to the Redwood Rebels. Rachel Leigh saved the best for last, as Zed is the most tortured of the rebels. This book is like waving all my favorite desserts in front of me. I couldn’t get enough of this misunderstood alpha-hole. Guys like Zed might seem like the scariest of monsters, but underneath they’re the fiercest protectors with the greatest capacity for love. And Vi is the perfect complement. You’ll love watching their relationship unfold, which also explains so many of the questions left unanswered with the previous books. Such a wild ride!

I'm left completely speechless and amazed with Zed and Vienna story. I am so glad Zed got to tell his story and get his revenge and vengeance.
I was impressed with Vienna and how she was able to handle Zed. I loved seeing Zed really grow and change as the his story progressed and see his feelings change and grow for Vi. I loved how Vienna never gave up and stood her ground. Overall I loved this book and end to this series!

This is probably my favorite of the series, simply because Rachel does an amazing job of getting to the core of who Zed is and as readers learn about him and all that he has endured and continues to deal with, it's clear what he's been up against and what that means for not only his present but his future as well.

I’m sad that this series is over but Zeds story was perfect and made me obsessed with him. Reaper is Zed’s story and I have been anticipating it since his character was introduced in the beginning of the series. Throughout the previous books he’s always been a secondary character and we never really knew his true character until now.

Zed and Vi are each other’s best match. They both have the fire that keeps them going. They also have a past that left marks on their character that made them who they are now. Zed and Vi are both strong characters that have been through so much together yet manage to become fierce in any situation given. I really enjoyed the moments they had because it showed just how right they are for each other.

Rachel Leigh concluded the series in the best way. With secrets that have been held and told throughout the series we finally discover the rest of it all. The friendships and relationships built will always remain strong.

Reaper is the last book in the Redwood Rebels Series and this is the book I have been waiting for, We finally get to hear Zed's story.

Zed and Vi were perfect for each other, they have been connected for years now, they both have their secrets and now when they are both feeling at their lowest, they are finally drawn together. Zed is unpredictable yet Vi never gives up on him.

It was great to finally get answers to everything we have been waiting for and I am sad to see this series end. series as a whole.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I was absolutely intrigued by the main characters, but also felt lost. I'm not sure if it was the back and forth in time or the fact that I didn't read the previous books in the series.

Zed’s only purpose in life was to get revenge on the man who hurt him, yet not even that had much appeal for him to keep on living. But the one girl who once meant everything to him needs his help because his friends are looking for her and want Zed to turn her in.

As mentioned, I did start this series at the very end and felt there were gaps that needed to be filled, but the story mostly revolves around Zed and Vi whose relationship has been complicated since they first met many years before the start of this story.

Focusing first on the parts that pertain to this particular installment: Zed’s vengeance and Vi’s predicament with the authorities and Zed’s friends. I feel the two were resolved easily and without fuss. Although there was an aspect about Zed’s past that even at the end I felt unclear, though perhaps that was explained in previous books.

That left the main part of the story to be about Zed and Vi’s relationship, which was rocky to say the least. It was explored in part through flashbacks of the past as being secret best friends and their present inner musings. Zed felt guilty and undeserving but I think he was a well-developed misunderstood bad boy.

Rachel Leigh ends her Redwood Rebels series with a happy ever after for all and fans of the series will most certainly love it.

Reaper is the epic conclusion to Rachel Leigh's Redwood Rebels series and I am not ready to say goodbye to my rebels. All of these characters have their own special little places in my heart and I never want their stories to end...especially since it means not seeing all my twisted men anymore. At least I have my NOT so secret love affairs with Axel Thorn (Like Hate) Talon Porter (Striker) and Zed King (Reaper). That's right, read it and weep b*tches...being the selfish QUEEN B*TCH that I am, I made sure to stake my claim on these three long before any of you got your chance to. Got to LOVE having those BETA perks! Truth be told, I had my claim on Talon and Zed long before their stories even came out. Don't believe me? From the moment Zed's character made his first appearance, I just knew without a doubt that this dark, twisted, and broken hero was going to be all mine. His story has been one of my most anticipated reads of 2021 and let me just say that my girl Rachel Leigh delivered EVERYTHING a girl could have asked for. The author's storytelling is breathtaking beautiful and her character development is utterly brilliant. Her words consume every inch of my soul and as I inhaled the words of Zed and Vi's journey, I felt as if I was transported right into the action. She writes in such as way that allows the readers to feel every emotion that her characters are feeling. She just knows how to captivate you whole body, heart and soul.

Zed King is the ultimate REAPER with no soul and a heart as black as the clothes he wears. He is a broken hero that you just can't help but fall in love with his all his dark and twisted flaws. He may be damaged, but that doesn't mean he is a lost cause like his friends and family think. His need for REVENGE has left him angry all the time, and the only way to undo the damage to his heart and soul is to get even with those who have wronged him...even if it means turning into the villain that Vienna "Vi" Moran has always thought he was.

Vienna "Vi" Moran is a strong and badass heroine that you can't help but develop a lady crush on. She is just as broken as Zed, but at the same time, she knows just how strong she needs to be in order to save Zed from himself. Vi is truly the calm to Zed's storm...and I could not have imagined a more perfect match for him. She does NOT take his sh*t and even though she has loved him in secret for as long as she can remember, Vi isn't about to let him walk all over her.

Zed and Vi's story was beyond epic and I was totally ready for the darkest and most twisted ride of my life with these two. Rachel Leigh gave her readers the conclusion of a lifetime and as sad as we are to see the Redwood Rebels go...they will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Wow!!! 100 stars is what Reaper deserves!

Reaper is not a stand-alone. You have to read books 1-3 before starting this one.

When I read Striker I was 100% against Zed. Then Heathen was released and I was like Ok maybe there is something there. Then Vandal came and I was like OK maybe I was too quick to judge this guy. Well I'll be the first to admit I was so very wrong! Reaper has totally changed my mind and I'm completely in love with Zed!!!

Zed the broken boy. The jerk who does what he wants. But if there is one thing you will learn through out this series it will be that even though he seems like he's for himself he is always the first to help out his boys when needed.

Vi girl....her story blew me away. We learned about her before this book but only bits and pieces. I absolutely love her. She as a huge heart but damn her secrets will destroy you.

It all comes down to this point. This is the series finale so you know we get all of our answers. Let me tell you.....you may think you have it figured out but you don't. There is a curve ball you had no idea coming your way. But everything will come to a head and we finally get the answer to that one question that's been on your mind!

Rachel has blown me away with how amazing not only Reaper was but this entire series. Each book was incredible. It all flowed together perfectly. You couldn't ask for a better conclusion. Reaper is my favorite of the series. Rachel did our boy justice. I was always all for Talon he is my boy but Zed took some of my heart. I'm so sad to see this series come to a end but I'm excited to see what our girl produces next.

Finally we get my tortured broken gorgeous bad boy Zeds story and wow this author definitely saved the best for last ! This whole series is amazing Striker was the first book I read by Rachel and I was obsessed from there on literally every single book I’ve read I’ve loved. I am sad that this series is over but I couldn’t have been more happier with how it ended we get all our questions answered in this one this book tied the overall plot of this series nicely together. I knew there was so much more to Zed than what he was portrayed as but I do love me a tortured broken bad boy and Zed is the very definition ! My heart broke for him I just wanted to hold him give him a hug . I was absolutely shocked with the secrets that were revealed I thought Vi was perfect for Zed the chemistry between them was undeniable. I love this crew I love this series it’s full of mystery suspense sex angst heartbreak secrets loyalty it’s emotional it’s raw its painful it’s even a little funny in some parts if you haven’t started this series yet your missing out and if you have I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with this conclusion it’s bittersweet but I loved it! Amazing five star must read!

Reaper brings the saga of the Redwood Rebels to a stunning and emotional conclusion and Rachel Leigh has done the impossible. She has made me fall in love with Zed. I didn’t think that was possible given his actions in the previous books, but now he’s my favorite Rebel. Zed and Vi are perfectly imperfect and they save each other over and over again!

“I’ve always wanted to love him enough for the both of us, but he’d never let me. He’s a broken boy with a past that haunts him. He’s my broken wing.”

Vi is just as broken as Zed. Her past is just as painful and Zed was her safe haven from everything. Their shared past was eye-opening and explains so much. She is the perfect match for Zed. She’s mouthy and dark and misunderstood by everyone but Zed.

“I could tell him that Vi is the only person alive that I would die for, that I’ve loved her since the first time I saw her catching fireflies in her back yard. Or that I saved her life and she saved mine.”

Zed is struggling to keep his head above water and he’s bogged down by his past. He can’t escape the pain until he reconnects with Vi. She’s the only thing in his messed up world that makes sense and she helps bring the story full circle. The secret past that Zed and Vi share is heartbreaking yet also beautiful. They have been there for each other when everyone else has let them down.

This is a story of second chances, revenge, retribution, forgiveness and love. We finally learn the mystery of what happened to Josh and everything that has happened behind the scenes with Zed that led to his seemingly unforgiveable actions. This story consumed me and I am so sad this unforgettable journey is over.

What a great ending to this series!

Zed's character intrigued me from the start, so I was excited to finally know his story and see his point of view with everything that's been going on. He was an absolute mystery and his actions were unpredictable, but in the end, his loyalty was so admirable, even if his methods raised questions.

Vi’s character was unexpected. I never saw her coming! My heart broke for her and Zed throughout reading, but I loved seeing their growth as they fought through their demons both individually and together. Their shared past was definitely shocking and heart-rending!

These two were so perfect for each other, and I couldn't have asked for a better couple for this conclusion. The concept of their secret connection and second chance had me hooked. And despite all the trials and tribulations, knowing that Zed would always be there for Vi (and vice versa) made me fall deeper for him. [Also, the steamy scenes were H-O-T!]

This book was a perfect way to address all unanswered questions and tie up any loose ends. The twists and turns in this series were definitely a ride and I enjoyed being thrown off guard (multiple times 😂). I'm so sad to see these interconnected stories come to an end, but I’m so happy with how everything turned out for all of these characters. I was so consumed by this world, so I’ll definitely miss it!

I look forward to what Rachel Leigh puts out next!

Zed's story is one helluva a journey with a whole level of protectiveness. When Vi & Zed's lives have been interconnected from the beginning, their paths are naturally drawn together. Their love-hate relationship is intoxicating and real with some hot damn passionate moments.

Both these characters absolutely bounded me emotionally and drew me in to feel each moment and emotion they shared. Real, raw and emotionally heart wrenching. I LOVED LOVED LOVED the flashblack scenes... absolutely 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆.

For me Reaper has concluded the journey of the Redwood Rebels and FINALLY completed the mystery.

A series full of angst, hatred, lies, love, friendship & trust. What more could we possible need. Not forgetting the twists & friggin turns! Not started the series this is a must!

What a great ending to this series ☺️.

I was not sure going in how I was going to feel about this book because let’s face it … Zed was absolutely awful in the previous books. How could they redeem him? This book filled us in on his tragic backstory and into the mindset of this psycho and you couldn’t help but root for him and Vi.

Zed found his way back into his friendships with the other rebels and the one year down the road epilogue shows a glimpse into a very cool future for the gang.
