This was better then I hoped for.
So all I wanted to do at the beginning of the book was smack there heads together and yell. Love is weird.
Can't wait to read the next brothers book.

Love nina and donovan's story. I love the best friends sister stories and kinda like a second chance but years later. Both pined for each other when they were younger but never acted on it. Sweet cute story.

Nina is a confidant woman but when it comes to one man she gets tied up into knots . When Donavon comes back into her life after 13 years it is one of those things that bring up the past . When he was best friends with Emmett and she was the little sister with a heart full of love for the best friend of her brother . Now feelings have surfaced and love has been declared but will they be able to figure out the love of the past the real love that they can have now .
Ok Nina and Donovan have to be my favorite characters in this series . Nina is such a fun character to read. She is strong willed and confidant . She is always the mouth piece of the family. The guys love her and love having her as a sister even though she can be annoyingly in their faces . She is so much fun and you can't help but love her . Donovan wow he is so sexy and yes I am going to say it a fireman a hot sexy fireman . Who has had Nina's heart for 13 yrs . They fit with each other like a well worn pair of jeans . He helps Nina relax and she is his cheerleader . They are such a fun couple oh yeah and the rest of the family is back and the guys are sexier then ever.
This is the second book in the series and I am so glad the author decided to do Nina's story second . Don't get me wrong I want them all to have their happily ever after but I like that we got to see Nina get hers before the guys . The author made me laugh through out this book so much. It was so much fun watching Nina fall in love again , she so seemed to tone down a bit The story is fun and fast read with lots of hot romance and some fun family moments . I am really liking this series and can't wait to read the next two books in the series . Check it out for your fun filled winter read

Yay Nina's story. We got to know her pretty well in the first book but we learn a whole lot more in this one. She's suffering from unrequited love from when she was a teenager and his abrupt departure 12 years ago. After all he's best friends with her brother, Emmitt. Now that Donovan's back she avoids him like the plague and he doesnt understand why. He's always loved her but he had to leave because she's his best friends sister....right? Will these 2 figure out what the other is hiding?

I enjoyed this story immensely. These 2 knuckleheads...and Emmitt haha I loved that response when Donovan finally confessed. I am really liking the series and love this family. I think I would like to have had more interaction from the people from town. It seems just centered on the resort which isn't bad but I think this would have put this series on top if it had a bit more like quirky townspeople. I'm a fan of close-knit towns because I live in one. So, for me I would have loved something like that but I still really enjoyed this.

The spark they’d both felt was real. How life might have been different if someone would have just spoken up? Sometimes not trusting that guy feeling or even daring to put yourself out there hurts not only you. Everyone could see that Nina and Donovan had a thing for each other. This book has a lot of dirty talk and sex so if that is something you don't like then you should pass this one by. I love the resort and the pieces each of them have a part of. Nina is so strong and business mined. I liked how she said she gets tired of making decisions and just let Donovan take over at times. Donovan what a man - making sure others are ok before himself. It was interesting to read about them being so open with each other once they finally were honest. If more people in real life were like this we might be happier.
I did enjoy the book and will be look for the next 2 in the coming months.

We've been given two amazing people in Sparked. Donovan and Nina have had feelings for each other forever but he can't say anything because 1. she is his best friends sister 2. she is only 16 to his 19. So he stays away until he is asked to do a favor for the family and it gives him a chance of seeing Nina. So we have a second chance for both of them but Nina has to get over being mad at him. Plus they will have to admit their feelings for each other. I love second chances plus the idea of of the best friend / no dating my sister kind of thing. Who knows what is really going to happen, your going to have to read the book to find out and I know everyone should. The story and characters will suck you into the story and you'll want to know more about Donovan , Nina and the entire Beckmeyer Family

One of the best second chance trope meets best friend's baby sister trope and oh how the "sparks" fly.

We've gone from eldest sibling Barrett to the baby of the group Nina. It's great seeing that Eden and Barrett (though it has only been a few months since the end of book one). This is a story of crossed lines where Nina has been in love with Donovan for twelve years but thinks he doesn't notice her as more than his best friend's sister. Donovan has been in love with Nina just as long. But he was afraid Emmett would hate him and/ or that Nina is avoiding him because she dislikes him.

The unfolding story once they actually sit down and talk is so expertly written I couldn't put the story down. I swear the author pulls you into her characters souls more and deeper with each sibling's story. I can't wait to see who's next.

"To be honest I didn't read the blurb before I started reading. It's just that I wasn't sure it was going to be about Barret's brothers and I so wanted them to have their happily ever after. Anyway, I wasn't so excited when I realized this second books was about Nina cause she was a b*tch to Eden in the past book. I needed more to be interested in her story but well this is the one I got lol. Emmett is such a great guy and a brother too. Back to the story, surprisingly I ended up liking Nina's character and she wasn't as bad as I thought. Donovan and Nina's story was something out like a fairytale and it was so romantic. But nooooo right before the ending... that moment was so unexpected and I almost cry haha. Like I said, it was a good story. Donovan was an incredible character since the very first moment and my perspective of Nina changed too."

The best part of this series is the family dynamic and how that extends to friends as well. This installment focuses on the youngest and only sister Nina who has been crushing on Emmett's friend Donovan since she was a teenager. Donovan did everything he could to forget Nina. He finds himself back at the Beckmeyer's Maple Ridge Resort and soon sparks are flying! If you believe in love at first sight this sweet sexy read is for you!

So far this series has been great. Nina has three brothers and has a hard time making friends because they always want to get closer to her brothers. I found it comical that she's been crushing on her brothers best friend for years. Donavon is a fireman in Georgia but he did a favor for Emmett and now he wants to stay close to the Beckmyer family but Nina is avoiding him. I am looking forward to reading everyone else story and I hope Morgan and Stella are back

This was a great story. I really enjoyed Donovan and Nina's chemistry and how in tune they were. I really liked how this story was definitely less about the whole family, but still have lots of interactions, and mostly about the couple. It did had some slower parts but it was still a very good book. I can't wait to find out what happens with the next Beckmeyer sibling.

Nina has loved Donovan since they were teenagers and when Donovan realised he more than liked her, he bolted and now after 10 years he is back and wanting her more than ever but had too much time passed to dampen their feelings.
