As a man thinks
God has created man as a tripartite being. He is a spirit, that has a soul, and lives in a body. The soul of man consist of the mind, the will, and the emotions. after being born again these are the three components responsible for man experiencing success and total life prosperity. III John 2 says Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. This teaching "As a man thinks" deals with the importance of resetting our belief system to one that is in agreement and alignment with the word of God. This takes place through the process of renewing the mind, as we replace old thought patterns with new ones. Therefore when mind renewal is accomplished, it enables us to embrace a lifestyle of living that is ordained by the Father; one of victory and success in every area of our life.
