This is the first book I own about geography and topography. I saw this in a local secondhand bookstore in my area, and I got it because one of my current dream destinations is South America, specifically Peru.
It talked about Peru a little, but I really just wanted information about South America altogether. It contains 6 chapters, which include where it’s located, how it came to be, the animals and plants found there, the people who live there, and what it’s like today (respectively). There were also some fun facts in the book, which increased my interest to visit South America.
It has 32 pages in total, so I would not say that it’s a heavy read. I’d recommend this book for people who just want a general overview about South America :)
