If even one sample question and answer helps me in an interview then this book was a benefit. However, I feel the downfall to the answers in this book were that they seemed to contradict today's philosophy of not saying negative things about prior employers or coworkers or taking too much credit (the book uses the phrase "single handedly" a lot).

Since dramatizing these types of books may make them look cheesy or theatrical, they will likely never be that entertaining so judging them is hard. If I use a technique from the book in the future to a successful conclusion then possibly I may return and improve the rating. With that said, I only think it would only help someone who may be interviewing in the near future, so time available would be the only detriment to reading it.

This book will help you to prepare for your next, all important, interview.

Audio-competency type interviews, don't try to control the interview, don't sched them too close together, don't be too humble, don't look at ur watch , have ur list of core competencies. Complete advanced prep, choose words to make you sound more professionally, constitute a prof brand, etc. most ex are from the business areas.

At the end of the interview, summarize why you are the right candidate and ask for the next step.

After the interview, send out the 'thank you' letter and show you enthusiasm of the job but don't be pushy. You can provide additional info on the competency of the job.
