FANNNNNGGGGG! So, I loved Fang in this book but then when he kissed that girl and Max saw I was like "HOW COULD YOU?!?!??!"

LOL, sorry, just had to get that out.

Let's talk about the book in no specific order!!!

- Iggy on the cover=HAWT!
- Fang and Max=HELL YEAHZ!
- Isn't it obvious that Nudge likes Fang
- These fakes names of theirs. XD Captain Terror all the way.
- Starting to dislike Angel.
- Remember when Iggy was crying? Didn't you feel so bad?!!?! I felt so bad for Iggy, I just wanted to
hug him and other cutesy stuff.
- That woman in the suit. I'm not gonna say her name because I'm not sure I trust her yet...
- The ending was so abrupt to me.
- All the characters hairs grow so fast!!!
- Fang is so sexy with his new look. I'm jealous of Max.
- Do to a couple of things, I did not give this book 5 stars like I did with the first two books.
- Iggy doesn't look as hot with his new look but he still is so hot.
- Ari is ALIVE!!?!?! Wah?!!?!
- HAHA, that kid who jumped off the jungle gym and fell down, I laughed.
- I don't like swans.
- Arial, Jeff, Max, Nick and Dypher? Not sure about that last one.
- NEW GUY IS IN THE BOOK!?!?!? He should get out, though he seems like he was an experiment too, he
could possibly get in the way of Max and Fang. Grrr....
- What would Max and Fang's pet name be?
- Captain Terror!!! HAHAHHA Still can't get over that... XD
- MAX'S EVIL TWIN!??!?!? OMG!
- Did I mention that Fang and Iggy are way hot? :D

And that's all I have to say for today kids. Eat healthy and stay in school kids. ;)

AHHHHH! This series is literally the best books I have read in my life! I waited 2 weeks to get this one to only take 2 hours to read it! I hope I can get all the details from this book because as well as finishing this book I finished the other 2 in the same time on the same night. I will do my best to tell you all the things that you should know about this book.

PARENT NOTE: This book is a very good graphic novel, but there are some scary images. That and they are being chased by things called "Erasers" and they can be kind of scary, as well as blood is definitely spilled. If not in this book in the next 2 and the last ones.

AGE RECOMMENDATION: 12 and up.

VIOLENCE: Yes. Fang is cut by flying erasers. Fights definaty break out, guns are carried by erasers.

LANGUAGE: Tons. If you are looking for a book with little language then this isn't your book.

ROMANCE: Clean. Join this group to find more books like this! https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

I liked this book "Maximum Ride, vol.3" because i like when they start fighting with mean things like "The Erasers" and some other mean people that Max, Nudge, Angel, Gazzy, Iggy, and Fang. They all survive but something horrible happens to one of them. Go get the book so you can read it because i know that it was an really awesome book i even rated it 5 stars. The book was so amazing and in this book there is a lot of action, blood, and a lot of fighting. So if you are a kind of person who likes action, blood, and fighting you should go get yourself some Maximum Ride. YOU have to read this book it's so awesome! And Iggy is a blind kid. And Max, Nudge, Gazzy, Iggy, and Fang are trying to find there parents Max and Fang went to this house that no one lives in. And they found a picture of ________. You have to read this book to know who was the person in the picture. In the picture _______ was still a baby. I recommend every one this book because i really liked it. My rate was 5 stars.

I love these books and was immensely happy when I found out they were going to be adapted into graphic novels.

NaRae Lee does and absolutely fantastic job!!! The drawings a perfect, it captures the emotion well, and you can see the uniqueness in each of the characters.

The only thing that really go to me though was during the swimming scene when Gazzy almost landed on Nudge and when Angel was asking about fish. They were wearing swimsuits...and you couldn't see their wings. Their wings don't just disappear and that really go to me. I'm fine with when they have clothes on and they are supposed to look normal, but when they are in a towel or have a swimsuit on? You should be able to see them.

One of my favourites! I absolutely loved this part in the series and to see it transformed into pictures and text makes the story so much more realistic to me... Because who wouldn't want a world with 98% human and 2% avian mutants to be real?? No joke, I think it would be so cool for that to happen... Aaaaand, I've now realized that I'm rambling on again like I normally do so going to end it by saying that I'm once again thoroughly impressed with this manga series :)

I must say, Fang looks even smexier than the first two!
The details are amazing, and Narae has the flock down to a science! I can't say much else about this book, becasue it's just too amazing for words.
Although, the Red-Haired Wonder does look like a total s***. (I don't cuss.)
But, it was an amazing book and I loved it!

The book I read was Maximum Ride, Vol.3 and this book was written by James Patterson. The Genre of the book is fantasy. The book was mainly about how they went to go visit some of the kids homes, but they didn't find anybody at the homes. Then the erasers hurt fang and they had to go to the hospital, Then the FBI investigated them and they went to go live with one of the agents and the group went to school. The book isn't mainly about the power of love, but it is about judging a book by its cover because if you do judge the book by its cover you might not like it but if you don't you might like it.

The beginning of the book was mainly about how they went to go see their parents, but they didn't find their parents at the addressees. In the middle of the book was mainly about how they were attacked by the erasers, so they took fang to the hospital for him to get fixed. Then the FBI started to investigate the group. The end of the book was mainly about how they went to go live with one of the FBI agents, and they spend the rest of the time living at the agents house. They also started to go to school when they started to go live with agent.

I really liked this book, and I really liked a lot about the book, except for some parts. Some of my favorite things about the book was that how you can see more of their powers in the book. I also like how they actually go live with the FBI agent and go to school. The thing I didn't like was that how they don't go see all the addressees of their parents house. The narrator wrote the book really well because it really explained what was going on in the text and you always new what happened. The book connected to the real world by making it so they have to go to school like every normal kid in the world.

I really liked the book and I really liked how the author wrote the plot of the book. I gave the book a 4 because I think he answered enough questions to make it a 4, but I don't think he answered enough to be a 5. I think this would be a good book for someone to read and I think they would like it.

This volume has one of my favorite tropes ever: everyone in a group being questioned separately while all of them give wildly different answers about their circumstances.

It was at this point in the story that the novels started to get whacky. Max has a clone and Ari is officially back from the dead. The graphic novel definitely handles these things better, but they’re still a stretch even for sci-fi/YA.

More violence in this installment, a bit amped up from the previous two. There’s a gory injury and lots of blood.

This series is a lot of fun. Tons of action, a little romance. I thought the part where they went to school would be boring, but it was hilarious. So far, a great series. Will definitely keep reading!

the art style is improving and they added more of a love story involved. I still don't feel like this is a series that translates well to manga form.

Maximum Ride is definitely a series I would recommend to others, whether they like comics or stories. Although I didn’t start the series with first book, I could already grasp how the story would go and the art style is something to admire as well. Just reading the third book in the story, makes you feel a close connection to the characters. You worry for their safety and get very hopefully that they’ll win. This book, manga, is about a group of outcasts, who were experimented on, and given wings like angels. Many people, good and bad, are going after them, trying to capture them and study them. The group is made up of very young kids and older kids who look after the younger ones. They were said to be birthed by regular human parents, but had genes implanted before they were even born. As the kids were born, the doctors and scientists who put the different genes into them, lied to their parents, telling them that they were dead. The kids were then locked up and kept in cages, experimented on. They do later escape from the place they once trusted and fly around too different cities, and towns, to try and find their real parents. They eventually have to go to the hospital for one of the kids in the group gets hurt. They end up living with one of the people investing them, but she treats them very kindly, like they are her own. They go to school every day, although some of the kids don’t want to. After awhile, living with the FBI agent, they find out they are being watched and run away from the home they were given. The erasers and still after them and now that Fang has healed from injuries, they can move on to a different place without having to worry about him. The flock continue their journey to search for their human parents.

I've really enjoyed this series, and this one feels even better than the first two.

This book continues from where Vol. 2 left off, when Max killed Ari and Ari's father Jeb tells her she killed her own brother. Max doesn't believe him. She doesn't see how that could possibly be true. The 6 kids try to fly to Washington DC to continue their search for answers. While en route, the erasers show up again. The erasers have been mutated again. This time they have wings, but they aren't very good at flying with them. Most of the kids are able to get away unscathed, but Fang got a pretty deep scratch. Fang is losing a lot of blood. The kids decide to take him to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor of course realizes these kids are different, and notifies the FBI. A bunch of FBI people show up and interview them. The kids lie about who they are, etc., but it seems like the FBI knows about them a little bit already. The head of the FBI Anne Walker tells them she can provide them safety and room and board in exchange for some information. The kids decide to make the deal. Fang is released in a day, and all the children go with Anne to her house, a huge farmhouse in the middle of nowhere with lots of land. The kids love it there. Max feels a little inadequate because she's used to being the mother figure. Now Anne is the mother figure, providing the kids with food and putting them to bed. Fang manages to decode one of the documents by looking at a map of Washington DC. He shares his findings with the others and they start going to locations on the map based on the code. However, other than finding a baby picture of Gazzy at one of the locations, everything else turned up empty. This is especially hard on Iggy, who's blind and depends on the rest of the group to survive.

Anne starts sending the children to a nearby school. The children who have never been to school before, take some time to adjust. They aren't used to kids introducing themselves to them, etc. Max accidentally witnesses a girl kissing Fang, making her jealous but she refuses to admit it to herself. Ari reappears in this book, confuses Max, because she knows she already killed him. Max and Fang are seeing erasers in their reflections in the mirror, scaring them but they are not telling the others about it (or each other).

In Maximum Ride, volume 3 the flock actually have a chance at being normal kids, they go to school, get homework, make non-avian-genetically enhanced friends, and get detention. Someone needs to tell Iggy and Gazzy that bombs (even stink bombs) are frowned upon in school. Of course Max is keeping a wary eye on their newly acquired federal agent guardian because she's learned time and again that you can't trust strangers and she's also having a harder time than the rest of the group adjusting to being a kid since Anne has casually assumed the role of mother, a role Max has gladly filled since she and the flock have lived together. Whether Max can trust Anne is yet to be determined but we know who she can’t trust, the scientist and shape shifters that have been tracking her and her group since volume 1 and they of course do their best to let Max know that they are still around.

I think this is one of my favourite volumes in the series because the dynamic changed and it gave the storyline a nice fresh look instead of continuing along the same cycle of catch and release that had been happening in volumes one and two. The story also delves a little deeper into the past of the kids as they try to find their parents or clues to where they come from but sadly their searches mostly turn up nothing. Still the adventure continues even with a little detour this volume was still fun and allowed for a bit more character development for Max and Iggy.

AAAAAAAUGH-
IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!

At first i was sad Fang cut his hair in the pervious volume cus i thought he looked better with short hair but NaRae Lee REALLY made fang look better in the 3rd volume- and omg his shorter hair with a ponytail <3~

(yes fang is my fav character so i will be babbling about him a lot)

IGGY- OUR PRECIOUS BEAN- PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS.
when he punched the pole and hurt his hand i knew things were going down...
also he looks better with his original hair, i didnt like it after the makeover fest. -~-

fang is an injury magnet.
in the first volume he got beat up by ari.
in the second volume he got beat up by ari.
and in the third volume he almost died, but not by ari cus he's (or was,) dead :)

and also when fang didn't resist Lissa kissing him i facepalmed and would have slapped him across the face if i could go into the comic. (also his face when max was sulking about it when they were walking back home from school XD)

it didn't end very well though, the comic ended at a very wierd spot in my opinion. (but hey, it gave a sample of the Daniel X comic vol. 1 which i want to read :D)

overall the volume i have been looking forward to the whole series, 5/5 and highly reccomend!

Maximum ride by James Patterson follows the third installment in the series maximum ride,it follows the main characters as they are headed to Washington,D.C when they are confronted with the foot soldiers that abducted them and brought them to the people who experimented on them to make them have wings,Erasers which are shape shifting men and women infused with lupine(wolf)DNA.the Erasers attack the main characters max,Iggy,Fang,Nudge,Gazzy and Angel and when Max(female)was about to get hit Fang took the hit for her and with everything going on they threw a bomb and this made the Erasers Retreat... but Fang didn’t let his family see the slash on his chest until he starts falling to the ground and a civilian notices the slash and calls 911 and gets the family in the hospital and from there a FBI agent goes to take care of them. The rest of the manga follows the family as they try to act normal and blend in in school.

This one was just okay. The bird-like kids are trying to blend in with a normal school and pretending to be like their classmates which obviously was not an easy task. Living with the same agent that drilled them, seems a bit unrealistic for me, but nice gesture. She has a beautiful home too. They could be 'free' as a bird, flying around at all hours of the day or night. Literally.

Jealous is brewing for Max as Fang has a love thang. She supposedly is the motherly role, eldest of the pack, and the main one Jeb seemed to speak about out of all the angel-experiements. The winged kids are quite a pair. This has Iggy on the cover, yet, he had a short-lived part in the graphic novel. Unsure why he was featured if you ask me. He had a panic attack moment of losing the team, all in his head, and then back to normal.

It was just an okay read. 2.25 stars.

Leisure read in 2018.

Once I actually got started reading this volume, I enjoyed it so much. I find this is a problem I am having with the series, I really like it but I find it really difficult to pick up the next volume.
This volume was a bit over the place, and there's not much I can say without spoilers. I will say however, Max is such a cutie and tbh so is Fang. Everybody seems to be developing more powers and they seem somewhat random, not really much to do with being an avian. But I'll ignore that minor flaw because the powers are cool, lol.
The art continues to be amazing and is probably my favourite thing about this manga, I love the character designs and it's just so nice to look at. Definitely going to pick up the next volume.
