4.5 I really liked this one. Some insight on a few of the gang’s pasts which is interesting . The only thing that killed it for me was my nephew who kept interrupting me so I couldn’t fully enjoy this manga . When I was at the library reading it tho👌🏼 Really great .
Not a huge fan of this one. Meliodas is back wow such surprise much wow! But he is different than his usual silly self. We learn more about the past of our characters especially Fraudrin and Dreyfus together. Merlin's reveal about that certain thing (not going to spoil because it was really good) is definitely the highlight of this book. The ending also marks the beginning of a new arc which will be about Diane and King (or Fairy and Giant in general). I don't have high hopes for the new arc but we'll see.
This volume is action packed from the start as Meliodas has a showdown with two of the Commandments but something is...off about him. Meanwhile everyone inside the palace has been captured by Grey Road and things don't look too good for them. Luckily Merlin makes a shock return...FINALLY. There's a surprise from her before we get to sit back and watch her let her magic loose. She's such a badass this volume and I ended up looking at her a little bit differently to how I have been before.
Good old Hendrickson gets his moment as he goes after Dreyfus/Fraudrin. I feel like Zaratras was back all of a sudden out of nowhere just for this particular moment. It was a bit convenient, as was the moment between Fraudrin and Griamore so I was kind of disappointed in that respect. Likewise Meliodas reappearing.
We do find out what the deal is with Meliodas, who's remained kind of a mystery throughout the series. Like we have gotten some information about him and his past but there's still so many questions. I'm kind of intrigued by the reveal about him because it'll be interesting in the future volumes to see how it plays out and what ends up happening to Meliodas. Quite the internal struggle on his hands plus we get to see two different sides to him this volume, one of which was more vulnerable than we've ever seen before.
So we get to see some different sides to the characters, and I ended up looking at both Merlin and Meliodas differently. Seeing the different sides, learning this new information about them, it paints them in a different light. Gowther however, remains shady AF. I'm kind of over him. Make him go away now! Things got super interesting for Howzer too and I'm looking forward to seeing him step up and get some more page time, hopefully! I've always been intrigued by his character. Although Gil is missing apparently?! Maybe he's just having a vacation.
One battle has ended but the war isn't over yet and the action could be shifting back to Camelot which means we'll hopefully get to see more of Arthur again!
Okay Seven Deadly Sins, real talk: I understand that we, as the audience, love dramatic reveals about superpowers and all that jazz, but why the fuck are members of the Holy Knights SURPRISED by Merlin's magic?! She has been a member of the Seven Deadly Sins for YEARS, surely members of the Holy Knights would at least be familiar with her magic, as well as, you know, Ban, who is a MEMBER OF THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS?! So why is everyone so taken aback by Merlin's explanation, INCLUDING BAN?! This has been going on for awhile and I have been trying to be tolerant, but this is getting ridiculous. Also, why are we, the audience, only NOW learning about Merlin's magic? She was introduced at least 10 or 12 volumes ago, but we're only now learning about it? Side note, love the fact that we have at least 3 members of the Seven Deadly Sins who can cheat death (Merlin, Meliodas, and Ban). Totally doesn't kill the suspense whatsoever. I can only hope Diane and King's arc, which was hinted at the end of this volume, is more interesting than what I've been putting up with. Goodness gracious alive, this series can be frustrating...

Çevresindekilerin rahatsız bakışları eşliğinde Fraudrin'i çirkin bir biçimde öldürüyor.
Absolutely love the anime so figured I would give the manga a shot, and boy was I half I did. The manga is, in my opinion, far superior to the already outstanding anime. If you like the anime and story of The Seven Deadly Sins, give the manga a go, you won't be sorry.
The arc seems a bit too draggy didnt we see them fight a lot already... artwork always seems to amaze me but... it's hard to make out some of the fight scenes. Love the Q and As thought!
Merlin è davvero molto potente e forte, Meliodas ha un potere enorme ed oscuro molto spaventoso. Il modo in cui Meliodas e Elizabeth vogliono proteggersi l’un l’altro è davvero molto dolce.

It was a great read up to this point but I'm starting to feel that the creator is losing the original feel and plot of the story that was being told through this work of art. I think I'll have to take a break before reading more so that I can get a better grasp and a clear head so I won't be judging the volumes after this one.
The heroes are back in force and starting their counter attack on the demons known as the Ten Commandments. If I remember correctly, we've defeated 3 so far? The former fairy king, the giant, and Galland. Unless by some miracle they're still alive.
We also get a clue as to why Meliodas is came back to life. And what part Fraudrin plays in all of this madness.

Most of the book was a fight against GrayRoad and Fraudrin.
But can we talk about the cover for a sec. Zaratras looks very odd, with an arm across his body. I stared at it for a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong with it. It first looked like a spear and him having boobs.
