What can I say? It's the Bible. It's a work of art and pure poetry in motion. To be honest though, there were certain books that put me to sleep because of all the repetition. But other than that it is as entertaining as watching a soap opera and as educational and informative as a history book. Not only is it filled with God's promises for our lives but it also contains numerous lessons to be learned and tons of guidelines for how we should be living our everyday lives.

This particular edition or translation is fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone who desires to read the Bible in a clear concise and beautiful, yet understandable English.

I love the one year format. In about 15 minutes a day I can read the greatest book through in 1 year. And every day is a fresh revelation.
