About the author

Cynthia L. Enuton is an author, illustrator, and artist specializing in Pekingese art and other brachycephalic (flat-nosed) breeds. She is the creator behind the fantasy artistry brand Gooberella (gooberella.com) where she showcases her independently published books and custom commissioned paintings.

Cynthia is the author of the Fur Angel series, a four-book fiction fantasy dog series inspired by her beloved Pekingese, Xia, and a Pug named Stimpy.

She is also the author and illustrator of two nonfiction picture books. Li Li (a true story) and Keeping the Ball Rolling: The Story of Freddie.

The latter is the first installment of a collaborative children's book series commissioned by a veterinary hospital in California, featuring their Pekingese therapy dog mascot, Freddie Leaf. Her original paintings of Freddie Leaf are also displayed throughout the facility.
