Moonlight Secrets
When Amberly walks into the forbidden forest, like so many times before, she doesnt expect her whole world and life to change. The incredible story of two generations. The book starts with love story of a couple 👰 who has superpowers 💫. And then they gave birth to a daughter amberly🤱.
She is a young girl, who is completely unknown to her special powers and her identity, she is the main charecter in the book. Apart from so much hidden secrets, there is also a twist in her love life. In which she is in love with her childhood friend Logan.
The story contains drama, action, thriller, romance, and everything a fiction should come with.🧚 The book is about the discovery of sacred sex; a perfect blend of true love, spirituality 🍀, and pleasure of the body. 🍃
'character-driven'. I loved the writing style of the book. The chapters are written from the point of view of the main protagonist.👸 I liked this book a lot. beautiful story and wrote with soo much elegance... ❤️

I read this book on my tablet using the Kindle app.
We are presented with a very interesting and enjoyable urban fantasy. This is the first part of a series where we get to know Amberly, a witch who soon discovers that she can communicate telepathically with a wolf. She doesn't understand why and believes there are things her mother has hidden from her, so she embarks on a journey into the woods to discover the truth.
We also deal with a love triangle, where one of the guys vying for Amberly's affection knows he cannot have her. Additionally, there is an external danger aiming to destroy their village, promising quite a lot of action in the next book of the series. Many questions are raised in this book, leaving you eager to know much more.
I quite enjoyed this read. I think the author has created a great atmosphere with enough intriguing questions to keep the reader hooked. The balance between romance, drama, and the upcoming action is well done.
I totally recommend it.

• it's been so long I've read a story of wolves and witches. So it was a very fun, thrilling and enjoyable reading.
• The story is short and fast paced and told from different povs.
• I'm not going to say I like the main character Amberly, but I understand her. And some of the side characters are really fun to read.
• From the book blurb you can easily tell that there's love triangle (which I don't like mostly), but I finish this story without feeling too much annoyance. So there's that.
• Another thing I feel missing is the world building.
• But if you guys love to read about witches, wolves, forbidden love, family dramas, secrets, love triangles, then give this story a try. it's good, really good.

“If our families ever knew the truth, it would lead to war between our villages.”
Just from this quote on the very first page, I was sold. It had me questioning, ‘what was the reason both villages had this rivalry?’
I bought the eBook version of this book, and couldn’t put it down, I was hooked on every page, wanting to know more.
We then meet the female protagonist Amberly, and she is an impressive female lead, fierce, intelligent, and strong. Her life is instantly changed as soon as she comes face to face with a wolf…
The plot line was incredibly well thought out, I was deeply invested in the lives of Amberly, Troy, and Logan. My favourite Trio.
I also like how we are given a different POV in each chapter, giving the reader a chance to meet each character, understanding their thoughts and feelings as events take place in the novel.
Amberly or how the boys would call her, ‘Ly’ would mention how she loved being in the ‘Triangular Woodlands’ as it made her feel at peace, but once again the reader is met with the word ‘forbidden’, as this place was considered ‘off limits’ by her own mother.
When Amberly was only five years old, her mother gifted her a pendant, with the warning to never take it off as it would protect her, and just like the MC, you begin to question ‘protect her from what? What’s really going on here?’...
Forbidden to go into the ‘Triangular Woodlands’ and now a secret and information-less pendant is mentioned in the story, and it just gets better from there.
During Amberly's search for answers, she has fallen victim within a love triangle, her childhood best friend and a shape-shifting wolf. By the end of the novel, you’re left wondering, ‘Who will she choose’?
Overall, I really enjoyed the book, it was a quick and enjoyable read. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next novel in the series.

This story of two generations is brilliantly written. This book has secrets, twists, a great plot and well developed world and characters. It is a complete mixture of drama, magic, romance, action that you will not put this down.
The journey of Amberly finding the truth and facing things she knows nothing about is beautiful. Her character is strong, kickass with a sweetness present. I enjoyed the other characters in the book as well.
This debut novel is fast paced, quick read and is told from different POVs makes it easier to understand and know the characters and their feelings better. Moonlight Secrets is a fast, easy read that indulges in some of the best tropes of the Young Adult genre. The story centres on the classic love triangle between protagonist Amberly, childhood friend Logan, and new flame Julian. Moonlight secrets is definitely not in the realm of my preferred genre, but tropes have a place, and this story is definitely the right place. It is highly entertaining to follow these characters as they try to figure out how to relate to one another in the midst conflict.
The backdrop of warring villages is an excellent metaphor for the leads' warring personalities. In the midst of conflict and chaos, an unlikely romance emerges.
Fans of fiction like the Twilight Saga will definitely enjoy Moonlight Secrets as it reads like a love letter to YA romance and teen angst.
Amberly, as the protagonist, starts off confident and grows more insecure as the story unfolds and as her feelings develop for both Logan and shape-shifter Julian. What I would have liked to see is Amberly using more of her powers. Her powers are described, but never really utilized in a satisfying way. Same goes for Logan, who is largely seen in a protector role, and is elevated by his relationship with Troy, another childhood friend of Amberly's and the village trouble-maker. Julian is enigmatic and temperamental, and his only real role is the new love interest, which is refreshing to see in a genre where the author tends to fall in love with the bad boy and make the entire story about forcing the reader to fall in love with him, too.
Magic and world building take a back seat, making room for the love triangle, but Lukasavage's ideas for the world she's created are interesting and I would like to see it explored more than just the casual mention. What should be noted is that, even though Moonlight Secrets is centred on the love triangle, there are several surprises in store for each character, and no one is what they appear to be.
Each character is given multiple chapters to explore their point of view, which I found highly entertaining to see the story unfold from multiple perspectives.
Even though Moonlight Secrets doesn't delve too deeply into its own mythos, it is a fun and entertaining read and I enjoyed its strengths as they are.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this story. Laura is a new author trying to make her way in the book world and with this book she came out swinging. This PNR is very original and full of moments you ask yourself what is truly going on between the pages.
You cannot help but be invested in Amberly’s life and what secrets lie in her path. With her mom not telling her the truth, she knows she must find the truths on her own. Who can she trust to stop hiding who she truly is?
If you're looking to take a chance on a new author you will not be disappointed when you read this story! I found myself captivated from the very beginning!

I am not usually one to enjoy love triangles, but Lukasavage portrays it well. She plays with the concept of what you should want and what your heart feels pulled towards.
She delves into the idea that someone can love two people and feel torn, but in the end, you love one more and truer.
Mix that in with a lost father, some new powers, a bad guy coming and a whole lot of destiny and fate. You have a lovely young adult fantasy book.
I will say, I feel this book is much better suited for teens and early 20's. As someone who is 27, I still enjoyed it but I had to almost pretend I was younger to appreciate the young protagonists troubles.
A good read you should check out.

October 26, 2021If you were looking for an early feeling Young Adult book this is it. Love triangles, paranormal romance and a bit of magic. The pacing felt a little off at times as it felt characters were moving too fast but was still nice. The book shows the confusion one may feel with falling for two people. It also touches upon fear of being rejected when you finally tell the person that you like them. Quick paced book with cliffhanger ending however there is a sequel.

It was a pleasure to read Laura’s first novel ahead of its publication in March. Each character takes turns in the narration, taking the reader along on Amberly’s journey. An intriguing story involving witches and shapeshifters. Fast paced and with plenty of plot twists I’d definitely recommend this debut novel. Well done Laura, I can’t wait to read the next one!

Having enjoyed reading Twilight in my youth I knew I'd enjoy reading this as the concept is similar. Amberly is a daughter of a witch and never knew who her father was, but all of that changes when a wolf shows up and starts talking to her - Julian. There is a very tense love triangle between Amberly, Logan and Julian which works well, plus many of the character names I love because I've either used them in my own books or in my own life, so that's a bonus!
A fast read and I found the dialogue really believable and punchy between the characters. Amberly is a proper kick ass girl who I can totally get on board with. This is the first book in the Dark Inheritance series (I've also read the second book and highly recommend).
At times I felt it was a little repetitive and I have mixed feelings about Julian (not sure I like him much) but that's my own opinion.

So, after posted the update below, the author then harassed or threatened to report me in DMs stating things like
1. “U really have a lot of nerve. And no time on ur hands that's all I'm going to say.
2.”Keep me, my name and my work out of ur mouth”
3 “I should report what u posted but I'm not a child. Uk nothing about me so keep me and my work out of ur mouth please ty have a great life.”
So, like, I’m changing to review to 1 star because like you can’t do that to reviewers. She believes that reviews should be based solely on the book and not the author. And I disagree. As we see with cases of book reviewers changing reviews for people like JKR and such. So, this is changing to a 1 star due to her behaviour.

1. When I first reviewed this, I was nervous. The author sent it over personally. I didn’t enjoy it but found some good qualities in it. When I sent over the review I was met with she was “worried it will shut people off 😕” and “Ur the first one to say that lol” and it’s “more negative than good” and blaming of the publisher and general deflecting and gaslighting. I just took is as a soft shell and was as gentle as I could be. She admitted that critique is hard. Super valid.
2. Fast forward to the day of this edit. She posted on Instagram about a crappy more than likely scam review that was 5 stars and changed to 1. Crappy for sure. But some of the language she used as she defended herself was the same gaslighting I saw in our private messages. I commented that the person was crappy but it made me curious with the way she reacts to negative reviews. She was defensive. Understandable. But then came the dirty deleting. Unfortunately. I don’t feel comfortable supporting an author who has that kind of public call out, gaslighting of less than stellar reviews, and dirty deleting habits. So, my original star rating was 2.5 which I displayed as 3 because goodreads doesn’t do half stars. I’m just changing that to a 2. Reviews for me are about the book as a whole. The author, the intent, the responsibility and equity of a book. I don’t want to be cruel, but I can’t support any more than that. It is sad. I wish it weren’t so.

-The title is intriguing! I think it’s great. It got my excited to read the story inside.

-I did not note a diverse cast. The world is diverse, so representing and reflecting that in our narratives is important.
-Dialogue driven discovery is not my favourite form of story telling. I think if you like that, then you’d enjoy this book.
-The discovery and storytelling was all very quick. I wish there was more build or foreshadowing of what would come of the story. I didn’t feel connected to the revelations because I had only just learnt of the possibility of something new coming. It felt stilted at times.
-At times, the timelines were incongruent. One story would take hours whilst another took days. Yet somehow they would meet up as if the times had been the same. It was confusing and made me not understand both the world and the story at times.
-The world was difficult to understand. When travelling between point A and point B, one group would take days whilst the other travelled the distance with barely a mention or sign of their trek.
-It slipped between first person point of view and second person point of view narration. It didn’t seem to have purpose, so it was a little confusing to be addressed amidst a story that was first person.

-I did not note a diverse cast. The world is diverse, so representing and reflecting that in our narratives is important.
-Dialogue driven discovery is not my favourite form of story telling. I think if you like that, then you’d enjoy this book.
-The discovery and storytelling was all very quick. I wish there was more build or foreshadowing of what would come of the story. I didn’t feel connected to the revelations because I had only just learnt of the possibility of something new coming. It felt stilted at times.
-At times, the timelines were incongruent. One story would take hours whilst another took days. Yet somehow they would meet up as if the times had been the same. It was confusing and made me not understand both the world and the story at times.
-The world was difficult to understand. When travelling between point A and point B, one group would take days whilst the other travelled the distance with barely a mention or sign of their trek.
-It slipped between first person point of view and second person point of view narration. It didn’t seem to have purpose, so it was a little confusing to be addressed amidst a story that was first person.

This author weaves an action packed adventure filled with romance, suspense, danger, and a nerve wracking desire to know what comes next! The characters show depth, growth, maturity, and a quick wit.
The book is carried along by dialogue and we are shown how each character experiences each given situation.

I caught a whiff of preternatural fiction story. This time sits perfect to read and watch the cold and windy climate with a hot cup of coffee.
Laura Lukasavage is a writer and did her Bachelor’s Degree in Radio/TV/Film and a minor in creative writing. She is extremely hard-working and determined lady. Her belief in "Life is a wild ride but never stop moving forward" made her a unique personality.
Undoubtedly I like the essence of mind reading thing inside this imaginary tale.
Telepathy is a connection to know what's happening inside the mind of a person without interfering with their physical sense.
Story has a girl, Amberly. She is not aware of her self telepathic power but later gets to know that how she is supernatural, and now she could read the minds. This is leading her to a new array of magic.
The further story has been connecting to a journey. She is reading wolves mind. Tdaa, yes the wolves are present in the story. Now you all can say- It is going to be a super fictional one.
Amberly is an interesting character as the will power and fearlessness she has been showing in the entire book is incredible.
Amberly has a friend Logan. She admires and loves him but later in the story a big twist will be shattering your feelings. Law of attraction will be putting her into a dilemma with the new character, Julian.
Book is fulfilling all the demand of emotions. Characters are very well introducing themselves. This is the most important aspect to write any story because it makes readers more comfortable with the plot. I enjoyed reading every single line.

This is the first book of the Author and to be very honest it was such a pleasure to riffle through this masterpiece . It succeeded in blowing my mind off and all thanks to for giving me an opportunity to read this .
Switching to the plot :
The plot revolves around a teenage girl named Amberly , who lives with her mother . The protagonist of the story that is Amberly is blessed with some superpower of far sighted vision . But she is unaware of those superpowers .
She walks into a forest but she doesn’t expect that her whole life is going to change . She comes to know that she can communicate with a wolf through telepathy . Isn’t it quite interesting to know about ?
She tries to explore herself and tries to get the answers of all the unanswered questions .
But the twists and turns of her life doesn’t end here , she also gets in a love triangle .
She had feelings for her bestfriend Logan . But later on she finds herself infatuated towards Julian who is a Shape Shifter . The suspense in the story made me to sit on the edge of my seat till last and kept me hooked .
Talking about the title of the story , the title goes perfect with the storyline and is quite intriguing as well . The cover with a moon is really interesting and attractive .
Amberly took my heart in the whole story and played the role of genuine champion . I really enjoyed reading her character . Her character was really impressive
Overall , a commendable job done by the author . Her work really deserves an applaud . This book is a perfect blend of suspense , thriller , love , friendship and much more .
This gave me a thriller experience and I am sure you guys are going to love it as well . Go and get your hands on this book as soon as it is possible .

This book had me hooked from the first chapter, straight away the writing draws you in and before you know it you’ve read the whole book in a few hours 😂
There’s just the right amount of character building and the story line never gets boring.
It’s a new twist on a werewolf romance and not something I’ve seen done a million times before.
Amberly has always felt like there was something missing from her life. Now she’s found out what it is, she has to choose where her heart really lies.
I don’t want to give to much away as you need to read this for yourselves.

It does not seem that Amberly's life was normal, but she led a normal life, completely unaware of her true identity, of her special abilities, which are the most important part of it. Aside from the hidden secret of her ownership of those powers, she has a twist, too, in her love life. She is in love with Logan, her childhood best friend, but later she gets drawn to Julian, a new character.
⛄In her life, there are so many secrets, and by turning more and more pages, it is exciting to unfold every secret. She knows how to write an attractive storey for the readers. The author has done a great job. This book is something you can't put down and it can be done in one go.
⛄I am impressed with the creativity skills of the author, her writing style is good and easy to catch. This storey is addictive because I didn't feel like putting it down for a second once I began reading this novel, and I think this is the biggest compliment for any book. If a book is so good that you don't feel the need to take a break, you shouldn't miss reading it.
⛄I completely delighted in understanding it. The portrayals are so wonderfully done, it will make you experience passionate feelings for individuals, environmental factors. The sentiments, the message have been emphatically passed on. Characters are so adorable, I really joined to them. The exact specifying, fantastic character advancement, all around paced story line makes this book an exceptionally captivating read.

I was sucked in right from the get-go with needing to know why Jocelyn and Aaron meet in secret; why their being together would cause a war between their villages? Perhaps it has something to do with their mysterious powers? We find out Jocelyn is pregnant and then are brought to present day and meet Amberly, a witch princess, and man do I love her sarcastic voice! She has two wonderful friends, Troy and Logan (who she actually has feelings for). The forest calls to Amberly and one day she happens upon a wolf/shape shifter named Julian who she can speak with telepathically. If there weren't so many family secrets, Amberly may have a shot at figuring out why she can speak to wolves.
Amberly is feisty and I loved her character. She is my ideal female lead. Troy is hilarious and Logan is dreamy. And where to begin with Julian who falls hard for Amberly and there is no denying their connection. His feelings become even more intense when Amberly is attacked. Even though I'm pulling for Logan, I don't envy her decision at all! Also, I love that we get to hear from Jocelyn and Aaron present day since theirs is the love story that hooked me. Angela is a gem and oh so loyal... talk about fierce friendships; I loved all the interactions and the writing was seamless and flowed to perfection. And the way Amberly was torn between her two men made me feel for her. And what is the deal with that mysterious amulet? The questions build and then...that ending?? What? Moonlight Secrets was my first read by Laura Lukasavage and it didn't dissapoint. I don't typically read PNR/YA romance, but loved the pull this story had over me. Amberley is half witch and a strong, curious young girl who is trying to find out the secrets of her past that her mother keeps from her. During her search for answers, she finds herself in love with two young men. One being her childhood best friend, Logan, who is charming, sweet, and would do anything for her. Then there is Julian, he is a fearless, shape-shifting wolf with a dark side and I really liked him. The story was well written and had me turning the pages until the very end which only left me wanting to read the next book in this series. Will it be Julian or will it be Logan she chooses?

Love is as magical as it gets! After reading this awesome supernatural, necromancer book without a thrilling end, I cannot wait for the next rendition of this book.
Any book with a female lead have always been my favourite and this just topped the list of my favourites. A big shout out to author's distinguished and whimsically inventive writing style. So easy to read. I loved this book so much I finished it in one sitting. That's how bewitching it is. With each turning page, you'd find yourself on the edge of your seats, specially towards the end, as I found myself.
Amberly's story of fighting her feelings for two lovers, who each have their own charm in a completely different way will keep you engaged right till the end.
Also I'd like to point out the author's writing style again. The way she has described every characters' feelings and thoughts is noticeably awesome. It almost feels like you're reading short stories and I for one love them. Ever since the twilight series the supernatural fantasy world filled with wolves have been quiet, in comes Laura Lukasavage with this compelling story of Amberly Grayson shill will leave you amazed all the way.

She enters into a quest to explore herself and to find the unanswered questions about her true self, her distinguished powers and also her father. She finds herself attracted towards another interesting character Julian.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. The narrations are so beautifully done, it will make you fall in love with the people, surroundings. The feelings, the message have been very strongly conveyed. Characters are so lovable, I actually attached to them. The precise detailing, excellent character development, well-paced story line makes this book a very engaging read.
An intriguing read which will keep you hooked. I am eagerly waiting to read more of her work.

I am so excited to share about this book, one of my recent favourite. After reading this awesome magical book, I am really excited to read more and more books with such storyline. This is basically a story about a girl named Amberly, the story talks about her life, her special powers, the hidden secrets in her life and her love life too. The introduction of wolves in her life is quite intriguing and different.
There are so many secrets in her life and it's exciting to unfold every secret by turning more and more pages. The author has done a wonderful job, she knows how to write an attractive story for the readers. This book is something that you can't put down and can finish it in one go.
I am impressed with the Author's imagination skills, her writing style is good and easy to grab. This story is addictive because once i started reading this book, i didn't felt to put it down even for a second and i think this is the best compliment for any book, if a book is that much interesting that you don't feel the need to take a break, you should not miss reading it.
The cover is pretty and attractive, I loved everything about this book from cover to storyline, everything seems perfect.

I had the pleasure of reading Laura Luksavage's debut novella "Moonlight secrets", coming to you this March.
I thought I'd love this book as soon as I saw that it had Wolves and Witches in and I wasn't wrong! It's the perfect first book to a series and because each chapter is from a different POV, it really allows you to get to know the main characters.
I loved Amberlys character - throughout the book she goes on a journey to find herself and get answers she's been looking for her whole life. I was always on edge wondering what choice she'd make next.
She ends up in a love triangle which is one of my favourite tropes and therefore made the book more enjoyable. She's stuck between choosing her best friend she's known her whole life and someone who's opened her eyes to a whole new world. I can't wait for the second book so I can see who she chooses!
A perfect read for anyone who likes twilight and anything fantasy related in their reading. I highly recommend this when it's out in March. I myself can't wait to read the final version!

Being a sucker for love stories, this book attracted my interest in every sense. While the supernatural and the magic part attracted my reviewing partner, the love and the drama it creates around oh-so-lovely Amberly's life made me not want to keep this book down. Yes I read this one in one sitting, that's now sweet and sensational the love has been described by the author Laura here. Also I loved her writing style. Breaking down the story into mini stories, focusing on each character's thoughts and conversations about the same scenarios was definitely fun to read. Also by leaving the book to a cliffhanger, the author has my full attention to her socials, searching for when the next part is coming out!
