Yu-hsuan Huang, also known as Smallx2, started her career as an illustrator, working on editorials, picture books, and commercial projects. She also has her own illustration brand named Smohouse. She lives with her family and two lovely cats in Taiwan.

A sing-song rhyme about getting up and going to school gets a sprightly boost with this cute board book. With tabs to pull (even on the cover!), sliders to push and pull, and a wheel to turn, the book is a satisfyingly interactive experience. Digital art in fresh colors shows cheerful animal parents getting their offspring off to school. This sweet offering may help kids feel good about the dreaded first day (if it happens in 2020).

Interactive board book featuring chunky sliders for lasting interactive elements. Sing along to the tune "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" to prepare little ones for a day at school. While the song would work well for storytime, the text-heavy and illustration-dense pages make this a bit much for young toddlers. Cute for one-on-one reading with preschoolers.

The sing along with the QR code is not as exciting as the other books in the sing along series. The book itself has a variety of animals getting ready for school. The interactive features work well with the text. For the spinning slider definitely lift up the page to slide it to make it spin easier.
