Avery goes to join the Astronomical Studies Club, hoping for stargazing and stimulating scientific discussion. What she finds is a group of people claiming to use crystal balls to receive messages from space aliens. But she gives them a chance, and finds herself helping to assemble a return message. It's a short and sweet read. Though the beginning felt a bit abrupt without a backstory for the characters, but the plot saw the light quickly after. The story picks up very swiftly and the ending is bound to leave the readers with a smile.

Drink more Ovaltine.

Great first contact story. A bunch of science nerds at the local college decipher mysterious messages from an ancient alien race.

It's a cool read and I recommend it but he could have gone further with the history a little bit, I think it ended up too soon
