All Ashlan Moone, overworked and underpaid developer extraordinaire needs to get her virtual avatar program into production is money. Lots of money. And Cameron Shepard, Chief Technological Officer of the Shepard Group and one of New York’s most eligible bachelors is just the man who can help her. Hacking into his company’s virtual gala to get his attention seems like a good idea … at the time. Cameron should be alarmed at the security breach the beautiful party crasher presented, but he’s too intrigued by her boldness to care. Tracking her down is easy enough for someone like him and finding out that Ashlan’s a kindred spirit in hacking and virtual reality sets off a flurry of emotions that have nothing to do with business. But a relationship is hard to do when half the couple is a billionaire and the other a cubicle drone at a rival corporation who won’t let her forget just who she works for.

Our heroine needs some capital for a product launch, so she gets her investor's attention by hacking his system. Now she has more attention than she intended.

This is a fun romance story with a SF setting, sort of a cyberpunk romance. The blend was intriguing to me and it turned out to work. It helps that the story is very well written and easy to read with a couple of fun characters as our main focus. The plot is well done and easy to follow, although not without a few twists and turns along the way. I really enjoyed out heroine as she was tough, smart and sexy. Overall, it was a very enjoyable read.

Highly recommended.

Surprisingly good
I really enjoyed this romance. I was a bit dubious when I read the description but the story is original and interesting. I enjoyed the two main characters, Ashlyn and Cameron, and I thought their happy ending was wonderful. it is romantic, and only a little bit techy. The personalities and situations were engaging, and I really like that the main character is an intelligent creative woman. I thoroughly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys reading a sweet romance, with a strong female lead character with a technology theme.

A well written book that held my interest throughout. What a group of jerks the company she worked for where not only to Ashlan Moone but all their employees. I enjoyed reading how Cameron Shepard and her first meet and what they go through to get their happy ending. Once I started this book I was not putting it down. I recommend.
