Cassandra Lawson lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and her two youngest children. When she is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, or curling up with a good book.
Joey is a werewolf and has recognised that Lucifer's daughter Lucy is his mate - the problem is it's an impossible situation as he just knows that a) she won't get the same sense of recognition and b) her father is bound to kill him if he tries to do anything about it. So he does everything he can to leave her alone in order to stay alive but he just can't do it. So he decides that nothing (not even an overprotective father) will stop him.
.This was a charming story with lots of danger, drama and excitement. The potential relationship between Lucy and Joey was incredible once they both gave in and saw that they were made for each other and it could not be ignored nor denied. There was a great mystery in the story and it added a lot as they investigated it and found out who was guilty and how to fix everything. Well written, it was very easy to understand and was very clear. Very enjoyable especially if you have read any of the Hellbound novels in the past.
The one book I have finally been waiting for is here and it was AMMMMMMAZING! Scandalously Hellbound is Lucy and Joey's story and it was incredible and everything I had hoped for and more. I couldn't get enough of this book. Once I started I found myself completely immersed and I didn't want to come up for air.
I LOVED Lucy and thought she was bad-arse and wicked cool while Joey is dominant, sexy, caring and smoldering with passion. When these two finally get together things explode in the most exciting and sexy way. Sparks snapped and popped and caused some majorly good fireworks. Add in the action and suspense and concern from Lucy's dad and we got ourselves a story that was hard to resist. The story was thrilling and fun and smart. Sexy too! Cassandra Lawson outdid herself with Scandalously Hellbound peeps!
Scandalously Hellbound gets a SCORCHING HOT FIVE FIERY STARS!
I love this series, but more than that, I love this author. Reading this latest book, I realized that what I really like, aside from the humor, is the dialogue flow. Conversations are natural and seem genuine. Characters are informative without becoming didactic.
In this book, Lucy finds love with Joey, a werewolf. There's a set up for a sequel featuring Ares and Bryn, and I expect that to be amusing based on their interactions up until this point.
Overall, I love the concept of this series. The setting is mostly in Hell, in which there are some very beautiful places. Characters include Greek and Roman gods, who are ridiculously eccentric, even crazy, and all others are supernatural in some way. Basically, the author takes the concepts of what we think we know and turns every one of them on its head. It's a fun read!

Lucy and Joey’s relationship has a rough beginning...she is Lucifer’s daughter after all and Joey is a werewolf!! But love does it’s thing and fated mates join forces for life!!! Another must read!!!
