We start to get some direction in this series and the direction is... the main character doesn't want to be in the series? The opening fight is anti-climactic as heck for what a first major battle should be, then we get some fallout from that, then we get our big mega bosses at the end that feel ultimately rushed. This series is soon-cancelled, with only one arc left, and I think Natsuki Hokami was struggling to rush through to some plot points that might be interesting but don't seem particularly momentous coming so early on in the story.
