A helpful guide for the fearless beginner. I found several of the templates helpful, and the step-by-step instruction shed much light on the steps necessary in the creation of such a cake. However, I was slightly disappointed that there weren't more troubleshooting tips. Further, while the chocolate cake recipe was good, it wasn't as good as I expected it to be based on the author's boasting. Overall, my kids and I were pleased with the cake I made, so I'll use this again as a reference.

A fabulous guide to cake decorating. Like the previous reviewer, I found the actual cake recipes so-so, however the actual decorating component of the book is fantastic. If you've got a bit of patience, this book will help beginner decorators to decorate cakes that will wow everybody!
