It’s the perfect opportunity for youthful-looking Detective Mia Coffman—going undercover as a teenager to find out who’s running a drug ring at Millsburg High.
The only hitch? Veteran detective Ramsey Holden will be posing as her father, and he insists they stay in character.
Despite Mia’s resistance to his method, Ramsey is firm. But he soon discovers that the roles feel more and more real as Mia’s challenging behaviors spark his naturally paternal nature.
When it’s apparent that Mia needs a real caring father figure, Ramsey finds himself assuming a private role in an effort to heal her wounded heart.
But there’s still work to be done, and Mia—who’s always lost everyone she’s ever trusted—finds her personal feelings conflicting with her professional goals in a way that could cost her dearly in what becomes a very dangerous operation.
Ava Sinclair is a best-selling Amazon romance author who caters to readers who appreciate a plot driven book where the steamy sex complements the story, rather than overshadowing it.
A hopeless bibliophile, Ava avidly reads across multiple genres, and this is reflected in her varied body of work that spans contemporary, medieval fantasy, western, historical, time travel and sci-fi. She especially enjoys world-building and crafting interesting and relatable characters.
Because her books feature graphic sex and elements of power exchange, she gently cautions her readers to take her work for what it is – delightful, sexy escapism.
Ava lives in southern Virginia in a farmhouse tucked away on a wooded hilltop. The first thing she did after moving in was to rip out the dining room and turn it into a library/office. This is where she spends most of her days, writing and being ignored by her cats. When she’s not working, she enjoys roaming the woods around her house, or seeking the advice of Lucius, her Eagle Owl.

Operation Daddy is the Who’s Your Daddy series, but reads completely as a stand alone. Mia and Ramsey are working together for the first time as undercover cops trying to bust a serious drug ring at a high school. Being a high schooler starts to trigger some of Mia’s past, though, and Ramsey takes it upon himself to be the Daddy that she’s always needed. But as the case gets closer to being closed, will Mia be able to turn to her Daddy?
Oh my goodness, I loved reading this book! I didn’t want to put it down! I got completely drawn in to these characters and their situation and while I didn’t love that Ramsey was the boss and the Daddy, I loved how natural the connection between Mia and Ramsey felt and how it flowed. Mia is a character that is a fighter, independent, has a past that left scars, but just keeps trying her best. I loved when she was able to trust Ramsey enough to start to relax and let go. Ramsey is a natural protector, a nurturer, but can definitely be stern when he feels like safety was an issue. I loved that he kept his promises to Mia. I think my favorite aspect about their relationship was that they both became home to the other person. The drama and investigation aspects of this story kept me hooked, too, and I loved that there was a great blend between plot and relationship building! This was a fabulous book that I really enjoyed reading, and loved the Daddy Dom and bratty teenage dynamic!

I truly enjoyed this story, I just wish it was longer. The characters are really good people that I found myself rooting for. Both are in law enforcement. Mia has made her name in a short amount of time as a good undercover cop. Ramsey is a seasoned cop, with a venerable name throughout law enforcement, and he chooses Mia for a joint operation. But Mia has lots of baggage, as an orphan tossed around from foster home to foster home, she has never known a father's love, And in their operation, she is play daughter to Ramsey's Daddy role. Ramsey comes to realize the need she has for a real father, even if she is 30 something, and he has a great desire to be that for her. I truly enjoyed watching this father/daughter, yet lovers too, relationship develop between the two. They are both needy in their own way, but also both with really good hearts. I just wish their characters had been developed a bit more. Or the story of them coming together had a but more substance to it. But overall, an enjoyable read.

Another Ava Sinclair novel that is unputdownable! Operation Daddy was enticing and satisfying.
I have always enjoyed Sinclair's novels and I really enjoyed the way she framed and collaborated this story. A little suspense, a dash of spanks and a touch of romance; perfect for daddy/little girl novel.
Detectives Mia Danvers and Ramsey Holden go undercover at a local high school to figure out who's supplying the drugs to underage students. Ramsey is the hot shot detective that everyone wants to work with. The secret to his success... he plays his ops to 100%. So, for this role, Mia becomes his little girl. Eventually, will the lines become blurred and will they take the roles a little too far?
This is the perfect little read for a weekend and one that should not be missed if you like daddy novels. Ava Sinclair is an awesome storyteller and her words drag you away from reality. Well done, Ava!
***ARC received in exchange for an honest review.***
Ava Sinclair writes sweet and wonderful Daddy books, with just enough bite to make sure that you aren't perishing from the sweet. That makes her books really pleasant to read and they give me quite the happy to read, even when I get teary through some parts.
Mia and Ramsey are both police officers who end up having to go undercover. Mia is going to go as a 16 year old young woman and Ramsey is her Daddy. They are going to close down a drug ring, at least that's the goal. But that's not all that happens.
I like Mia, most of the time. There are a few times when I was annoyed by her, but she was really acting like a teenager at those points, so you know, I totally get why she annoyed me. Overall, I really like her though.
I like Ramsey, and I think that he's a pretty good guy, even though he has one huge, colossal screw up. But, he's still a good man.
Mia goes undercover with an older officer posing as his teenage daughter. Officer Mia Coffman has just turned thirty but is small and petite with looks that mean she can pass as a teenager This has lead her to be assigned to work undercover with older officer Ramsey Holden posing as father and daughter. They are trying to take down a drug ring around the high school so Mia will be attending there and Ramsey with be working construction with many men have children at the school. She finds it difficult to call Ramsey Daddy having spent most of her life in the foster system and no memory of her real parents. Ramsey knows working with Mia may be hard as she is type of female that rings all his bells. A police romance to relax and enjoy.

I have read AND enjoyed many, many of this author's works, but somehow this one just missed for me. I never really felt a connection with either Mia (h) or her police partner/Daddy Ramsey (H). Perhaps because the subject: drugs in high school, dealers, etc was a little too gritty but I don't think so. I like gritty. But I think it was that I never felt a true DD/lg connection between Mia & Ramsey: the relationship was forced (via their job) initially & didn't seem to segue into the real & natural thing. It all just seemed so awkward & forced (to me). The writing was, as always, excellent but this plot & these characters never drew me in, interested me, nor was I invested in it or them much at all.

Our couples are undercover cops, with the heroine playing the daughter of the hero. But as the investigation proceeds, calling him Daddy starts to feel natural. Where will this lead our couple?
This is a nice police detective story with elements of D/S, a bit of age play, and some spankings. Hmmm. Not a bad mix. Put it into a very well written story like this one and you have a winner.
The plot is good and well thought out, with some some definite challenges that have to be overcome, both on the case and in the relationship. The characters are also well developed and real, which makes all the difference to me. I really liked the dynamic between the two and how well they worked together.
Overall, this story was a very enjoyable weekend read.
Highly recommended.

Here's a daddy dom tale where the lady in the equation isn't an actual legal age but still teenager, which is much appreciated. It's a decent read, well-written but with would I would consider a few continuity issues (A suspect being unknown to main characters, and then suddenly being referred to by their name.) That's a minor quibble, however, and doesn't really detract from story.
With "Operation Daddy", there's more suspense than sex, and more building of relationship than just having hot sex. Still, plenty here to enjoy for adult girls that love their "daddies".
This is a wonderful story. I couldn’t put it down.
Mia is going on an undercover assignment with Ramsey Holden, a legend. Their cover story is father and teenage daughter while looking for a drug ring. Mia has always looked young so she is perfect. Ramsey insists on them standing in their cover roles even if no one is around. This leads them down a path that they could not foresee. They develop a different connection than just undercover agents. Will they be able to break up the drug ring before something happens?

Operation Daddy had potential, but fell short. Ramsey is with an undercover task force and is supposed to be a dominant daddy type, ex-special forces. Mia is the very young looking, petite, female officer sent with him to investigate drugs in a high school. From the beginning, Mia acts like the high school brat she is pretending to be. The extent of the investigation consists of Mia putting herself in dangerous situations without backup. If you are looking for a book about Daddy domestic discipline, this is it. If you want more of a believable story to go with it, pass on Operation Daddy.

Mia is asked to go undercover with Detective Ramsey Holden. He will pose as her Daddy and she will be a 17 year old going to High School again. They are sent in undercover to break up a big drug ring that's going on in in Millsburg. Mia does a great job but she and Ramsey get in a little too deep and Mia finds that she is starting to find the little girl that she never got to be. Somehow everything goes wrong but comes out right. They part but, no you need to read the book. Another great story from Ava Sinclair.

This is the eighth book in the Who's Your Daddy Series. This book is full of danger, lots of suspense and some twists. Mia's a youthful looking detective who goes undercover as a teenager to root out a high school drug ring. She's paired with detective Ramsey who plays the role as her caring father. Lots of family dynamics, chemistry and plenty of emotion as they assume their undercover roles. Feelings galore and childhood insecurities surface. A good book with interesting characters and an entertaining book. I read an arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review.
What a fabulous story. Mia is a lost little in a grown up world. Her upbringing left her missing so much that she has learned to be tough and detached from everyone. When she is paired with Ramsey things start to change. I liked that he was able to see the sad little girl inside and reach out to her. And wow, Mia is a naughty one but she also knows what she needs. The ending was so perfect. It just wrapped up the story with a bow. Well done, Ms. Sinclair.
I really enjoyed reading this story. The blurb drew me in and the story kept me entralled. I loved both Mia and her daddy. Both characters are very well done, real and human. The relationship develops slowly and is realistic. This book is very easy to read, a real page-turner. There is nothing over the top in this daddy, little girl story. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I highly recommend it. This is a well written and very interesting read.
Right from the start I was hooked on this book and could not put it down. It was heart breaking at times and really emotional. I was so invested in Mia right from the start although at times I could have kicked her! I also loves Ramsey. He was strict but also fair and honest. There was danger and intrigue as well as a strict daddy and a girl trying to come to terms with her past while doing a job. Ramsey was perfect for her but the path to happiness is never easy!
This is the 3rd book I've read written by Ava Sinclair; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

I really enjoyed this story. Both of the main characters were likable. Due to its length, things happen very quickly. I would have loved to see this as a longer story with a bit more build up but it works very well the way it is. It ends kind of suddenly and if the author had given this book the Alexa Riley treatment (an epilogue or seven, with jumps into the future to let us know what happened to our characters), I probably would have given it 5 stars.
Two undercover officers have to pretend to be daddy and daughter. Their roles are being played to the hilt , in high school? She looks young and well she is but the chemistry between these two is anything but professional. When the stakes get higher and their mission gets hot in more ways then one how will the distraction of their lust come in to play and intervene with their job.

this story reads nicely away, in terms of length just right. the characters are well described and come into their own. with a bit of everything in this book, action, drama and sexy scenes ... I give it 4 stars.

is a major page-tuner makes you want to finish it in one sitting even if you have to work in the morning. woman looks young enough to be put undercover in a high school as a student with a man she falls for as her father

This was a well written book and I liked the action in it. I guess what it boils down to is, it wasn't for me. Daddy during sex is one thing but this took it to another level and was a bit awkward for me. Wasn't a bad book, just not my thing.

Father knows best... Mia and Ramsey are police officers working undercover. Since Mia looks so young Ramsey requested her as his partner. She will pretend to be a high school student and Ramsey will be her daddy. For Mia, who grew up in the foster care system, some unresolved emotional issues get in the way. Ramsey, who is a born daddy, knows just what she needs...
I enjoyed Mia and Ramsey’s story very much. It is as much a thriller aa it is a Daddy Dom story. Mia is an undercover detective, and Ramsey is a police legend. Together their assignment is to infiltrate an llegal operation. There’s action and drama and the steam is not gratuitous. Well done. Recommended.

What a great story. Mia upbringing left her missing so much that she has learned to be tough and detached from everyone. When she is paired with Ramsey things start to change. I liked that he was able to see the sad little girl inside . . The ending was so perfect. A must read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Good story but there was definitely some background missing from their growing relationship and there was no time reference so the audience doesn't know how long they were undercover. Maybe that's why the investigation wraps up so quickly and dramatically? I want overly impressed and it's not going on my reread list.
