Find out what special areas you can hunt that most casual hunters will avoid, leaving the big deer for you. See how to lure a mature deer with rattling, calling and decoying. The photos and illustrations show you the techniques that will take your hunting to the next level.
This book is a nonfiction adventure book written by Ron Spomer. It is an adventure book because hunting is an adventure everytime you go. In this book he reviews all of the successful strategies for harvesting a trophy buck. There are many helpful strategies that might help you get that trophy buck you've been searching for.
One thing I liked about this book is that it has many different hunting strategies it covers so any type of deer hunter will find this book helpful. Another thing I liked about this book is that he uses great imagery. "The mew and nursing whine, made by fawns, and the maternal grunt, made by females, are low in volume and little use to hunters." Another thing I like about this book is that there is quotations from whitetail biologist like Larry Weishuhn. "Serious whitetail hunters LIVE for deer season!"
One thing I did not like was that that he did not use any similes or metaphors. He also did not put this book in a chronological order. Some strategies were drawn out more than they needed to be.
The writing style the author used was complex. He uses an informative vocabulary and has good sentence structure.
I would recommend this book to any North American whitetail hunter. I would recommend the to them because it has many good things to think about the next time you are deer hunting. I also recommend it because many hunters would not know all the different strategies other hunters may be using.
