My five-year-old son picked this book out from the library this week.
This book is OK. The story is OK. The text is OK. And the illustrations are OK. I think the book could have been improved if the story had been about how the dog made friends with the other dogs, not just how he ran away, came back, and stayed with the other dogs.
B-O-R-I-N-G!! Everything about this book was bland. EVERYTHING...the story, the characters, the illustrations. It was torture just to get through a 32 page book.
